I don't have a good sense of what's out there these days...
I love the mods I have, but it's getting near time to get something new...
I'm wanting something that can easily bring me 5volts... vv is fine, but I will have it set around 5v anyway.
preferably an internal batt mod... or single batt... preferably not hundreds of bucks... and I don't want to use a kick.

any thoughts?

I have been waiting on the vaprlife ez-rider, but They've been saying a couple of months since last winter... that would have been ideal, but I can't count on it being released etc...

I wouldn't argue better... vaprlife makes amazing stuff... I've bought 5 vaprlife mods... and love them... the ez-rider should be on par with darwin in terms of features, function and build quality when it's done... but in the $150 range...

...but that smok tech looks like what I am not looking for anyway - I had a mod like that 2+ years ago... nothing very special or new. Just a simple budget vv 14500 mod... plenty of devices like that out there and several steps below what I have been using the past 2 years... I want something more like the dna 20 mods out there... internal batt... I have only seen a handful.

I was hoping to find one under $200... I may just get a provari with the extension if I can't find something else. Does GLV make a 5v single batt mod?

Thanks for the heads up though.

not sure what an mvp 2 is...

and I already went the kick route... it's a pain... not a fan... I'd prefer an internal batt - I like the opus... the darwin... the ezy rider (if it ever gets released) if I went batt mod... I'd want a single batt and 16500 or bigger.

I'f I were going the mechanical mod route, I'd just get another 5v viper, pearl or joker... I am so happy with these. They absolutely rock... and they've been ON SALE for several months now. I want something more than the 1100-1300mah I am using now and I'd prefer a single batt mod... none of the vaprlife mods are single batt.

I think a provari with extension cap would be the single batt mod I'd get... but... just wasn't sure if anyone was trying to compete with the opus...

I have 3 mechanical 5v mods, 9 vv egos and a terrific passthrough as it is...

Internal batt would be ideal... no messing with chargers and batteries, long batt life and a little extra insurance if the vapeocolypse occurs.

um these arent mechanicals if they have electronics in them holding at 5 volts. and the darwin is long gone..............

I would go in the direction of an MVP
http://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10004594/1390806-innokin-itaste-mvp-2600mah-voltage-adjustable
(link is just for reference)

with the provari in 18650 mode and the right battery you can get a couple days before charging

This looked interesting to me... I think the pre-order is closed on this run though..

The Boom [PreOrder] ENDS Sept 18th

He does offer other VV / regulated mods also..

ShanMods

The Boom has everything built in.

2 Built-in C rated li-po batteries, 2400mAh total.

Stainless Steel Dome Fire Switch

UP/DOWN 200g tactiles.

Stainless Steel Catch Cup

Factory Sealed 510 Connection

yeah, the opus... whatever... same people... and how is a 5v regulated mod not considered mechanical? whatever - it's a tube with a button... a 5v regulator and some protection... ... - thanks for the corrections - I enjoy these... but wanting a single batt 5v mod or more preferably an internal battery... like the former darwin or current opus...

That MVP... that looks really interesting at that price...

shanmods also look quite nice

Is there any reason NOT to get an mvp? Watched a few reviews on it... looks ideal in some ways... if nothing else, great, inexpensive backups for the vapeocolypse.

I only go 5 volts anyway.

I have ordered 6-7 times from fasttech, but smaller orders... would you recommend going with them for an mvp? or who would you go with to get one?

They have an extra damage shield for a few bucks... it comes with a free protection padding or something though.
They always call it something weird in china because of the translation issues! LOL
But man do they make some decent products cheap!

have you guys seen the new itaste VTR? They do not have them at fasttech yet... as the matter of fact (please correct me if I am wrong), but fasttech only has the itaste MVP V1.0 not the 2.0! still a great deal at 45 dollars.

the VTR takes an 18650 and the tank will sit inside the box as to make it more compact (well, compact for a box mod LOL).
