There's a new 510 out that looks like a cross between a standard 510 and an eGo. It uses a 450 mah battery so it should last a while. madvapes has them here, Super 510-T Kit, Chrome.

A KR808 is a bit smaller and has a 380 mah battery, but it's not a 510 so you'd have to use an adapter (a couple of bux). Mega 510's are also 380 mah, 510 Mega Kit with no Box and are quite a bit lighter than the eGo. Then there's the little standard 510 with a 280 mah battery (?) that's just a bit bigger than a 100 sized analog. Not good for medium or heavy smokers because of the short battery life.

Thanks for the info, cskent. I'ii check those out and be sure to buy a few to last between charges :)

I might lean towards KR808D-1 mega/XL batteries, with maybe an 808batt-510atty adapter if you really want 510 compatibility. The 808 batteries are higher mAH than the 510 standard batteries, let you run lower ohm cartos, and provide a higher output voltage (which equates directly to a bit more power/warmth). There are also a LOT of KR808D-1 prefilled cartos, if that is a consideration.

(A standard 510 battery is 180 mAh. A standard 808 battery is 280 mAH, the same as an XL/mega 510 battery. A mega/XL battery is 380 mAH. All standard 510 batteries are nominal 3.3V, vs. KR808D-1 3.7 - 3.8V. The mAH relates to run time and how low a resistance is considered okay to use, hjigher mAh means lower resistance is okay. The V is related to output power for a given resistance, bigger is more power.)

The above is based on the norms, however PV makers do keep twiddling with parameters, so maybe they are now making higher V and higher mAh 510s.

Suggestion... Canvape sells a 2 person KR808 starter kit for $54.95, which gives you 4 of the 280mah batts, 2 chargers, and 10 blank "clearomizers" ... the photo shows cartomizers though so you would have to check with them ... I'm sure they'll do either ... the batts are a mix of auto and manual, but you can get all of one kind as well if you ask them. Even though it says 2 person, to me its an ideal 1 person starter kit for someone who likes the slim bats. Decent amount of power (1100+mah total), redundancy in the chargers, and twice the number of cartos you normally get with a starter kit.
