I really want to DIY but I want to do it with stuff that I can get at local stores so I don't have to do the whole mail order business anymore. I know I can get USP VG at at my local Walgreens, and I am okay with sticking to 0 nic VG base. My question now is about flavors. I don't need anyting fancy, just something I can mix up easily and hopefully use as my all day vape. My local gourmet store sells Frontier vanilla (ingredients: glycerin, vanilla bean extratives, water) and Flavorganics Peppermint Extract (ingredients: water, organic alcohol, organic peppermint oil). Just wondering if anyone has used these ingredients before and how they like them. Also, any suggestions for other readily available flavorings would be great.
Thanks!

Opinions vary on this, but it's possible that oils can cause atty failures/carto clogging.
My advice is to stick as close to natural flavors (perhaps allowing for some artificial) in a pg base as you can. Ingredients such as artificial colors, any sugars (dextrose, etc) and gums (guar gum, etc) really should be avoided :(

NO flavors have been tested and marked safe for vaping, so really less is more.

If you like coffee, you may be interested in reading the coffee? thread in this forum. Many of us have had great success extracting coffee, cocoa, teas and cinnamon :)

Good luck!

added: almost forgot! Unflavored really isn't that bad, so if you're hard pressed to find flavoring don't count out no flavor! Maybe adding a drop or two of lemon juice....
