Dump the Hello cone/atty and use a 510 LR atty.

These aren't LR, but you get the idea: Hello 016 Carto Kit

Actually that's what I'm doing. I'm using both 510 and 901 LR attys with it. It looks better with the cone and it "appears" to add smoothness to the flavor I don't get by adjusting how much I loosen the LR atty from the battery. I checked and standard attys alone also lack that smoothness the conamizer provides. I hate carts and cartos, so I drip with a drip tip.

I have a couple of too strong mixtures that I use the regular conamizer for. Everything else it's a LR atty.

I don't think there is such a thing as an LR conamizer, AB ... at least yet. That's the downside of the Hello 016: its proprietary cone-atty. Not a huge price to pay for all that mAh, I suppose.

All things considered, I probably would get a 750 mAh Riva (if I were a 510 man). What I did do was get the Riva's Kr8 counterpart: CigEasy's 750 mAh Elegant (which I also use with my 901 attys, no adapter needed and it fits in the cone).

If you would like a fairly small 900 mAh PV with a true 3.7V battery, check out the Precious-M.

It has only been on the market for 2-2.5 months, so it has not had sufficient sales to warrant accessories or updates yet. LR atties have only come into being for about 5-5.5 months and that's for units that have had sales in many thousands. I doubt that there has been sales of one thousand of the Hello Tech 016 yet. Don't get me wrong, I have 2 and they work great. What I have done is to remove the atomizer portion (I finally had one burn out) from the cone, with some difficulty and now use the cone on any 510 size atty or carto, including my LRs.

As usual, thanks Don. I'm actually at the point where I'm really, really, really attempting to learn self control and not buy any more new toys too soon. That is, until I decide on a variable voltage mod. ;) You do make that Riva set up tempting since I use 901 LR attys as well.

Sanford, I think it was 5/23/2010 the night I discovered ECF and learned about true vaping. I had wasted almost a month with a Luci set up before. I didn't learn LR attys were a newer innovation until a couple of days ago.

I find myself carrying around my 5v 510 PT to more and more places. I mainly use batts when out and about. I use the PT in vehicles. I also use 901 attys with an adapter on the PT. I have come to the conclusion that I'm not going to get the TH I was looking for. That's been evasive even when I vape some of the high mg nic samples I'm sent.

The most important aspect now is smooth flavor-able vaping. For that reason I prefer the 901 over the 510. Not crazy with its vent hole though. I'm a dripper so I'm not interested in carts or cartos. My "current" working hypothesis is that a low maintenance variable volt mod would best suit my needs as I've found some juices carry flavor better at a certain voltage.

After a little over a month, I no longer feel overwhelmed by the wealth of information, techniques, etc. to get acquainted with but I am most definitely still a newbie when it comes to experience. ;)

How did you get the cone off the atomizer and does it make a good fit on the 510 carto? I haven't tried it yet being as none of my conamizers have died yet.

Tumbleweed, you don't use the carto AND the cone, you use the carto INSTEAD of the cone. That's what Don was talking about with the proprietary cone-atty up there. That's the reason I'm not all that impressed with the Hello. The battery does last a long time though, so I still use it some. It's just the last one I'll reach for.
