Thank you in advance for your help.
I have been vaping for quite a few years now. I started when the industry started with a normal 3.7v ecig from puresmoker. After playing with quite a few box mods, I then moved up to an Xhaler 6 volt (2x RCR123A battery tube setup), and have been happy for many years. This is where my problem comes in. I have been happy for so long, I haven't been following the mod circuit, and now that I am ready to buy again, I am out of touch. I am looking for recommendations to fit my vaping style. I don't want to spend more than $125 and have listed a few things below that are important to me. The reason I am looking for a new PV is mostly size. The Xhaler is a pretty long device, and doesn't fit in the pocket very well. It also doesn't have a cutoff, so it will accidentally fire in my pocket (bad).

Important.
Throat hit - I currently am vaping 555 or Flue Cured 36mg at 6 volts using 501 Carts. This has been the best fit for me because I enjoy the throat hit
Size - My Xhaler is currently too long at 4" without the cart. I am hoping there is something on the market that will fit in my pocket better and still give me the same throat hit
Battery life - Currently I am getting a days use out of the two RCR123A bats I am using. I would like to maintain this full day usage length
Accidental firing - The new PV should have some sort of lock, or the PV shouldn't fire in my pocket.

Thanks again for everyone's assistance.

Since this is the New Members Forum, and most of them don't know about what you have, or what will fit what you need, I recommend that you re-post in the APV Forum, and get a Provari Mini. The Sigelei V3 telescoping mod is a smaller form factor, but can use 350's or 650's. They are coming out with a V5, though on July 15. By less than 4 inches, you're pretty much into a mini device on a regulated APV, or a smaller mod device. Check out Fasttech. Unbelievable prices and lots of options:

Anyway, see you over there...probably. Welcome back, good luck and Vape On!

I don't think you are going to find any "short" PV (less than 4") that will last you a day on a charge unless you only vape on it once every 2 - 3 hours.

A variable watt (VW) Vamo ($24 - $39) used in shorty mode is 4" long, using one 18350 battery. With the normal set-up of one 18650 or two 18350 batteries, it is 5 1/4" long and more than doubles the vape time to about 10 - 15 hours for the average vaper.

Something like a Vamo that is variable watt and regulated, will provide you a much more consistent vape and more flexiblity than what you are currently using.
