Definitely watermelon. But I swear I'm picking up notes of honeydew as well but I could be wrong. All I know is that it is good as heck. Melon is definitely a good word for it and is spot on. I don't know if it's just watermelon or if they put splashes of all the melon types in there lol If there is other melons in there, watermelon is definitely at the very very top

For compete honesty I was vaping on MOV Water Malone the day before my order of Melon Beach arrived. Now MOV Water Melone is high VG and it has honeydew in it that I can definitely pick up on for sure, maybe I am just "remembering" the flavor and not actually tasting it but I switched out flavours and went back to Melon beach a few days later again and I still feel like I sense a hint of honeydew in Melon beach but mostly just watermelon but could totally just be in my head. It's likely just watermelon and 100% good! lol

I am one happy camper cause I now have my favorite flavour of watermelon done right in both higher VG and PG and never need to look elsewhere as long as these vendors are in business.

I have since tried Mango Beach. I'm sad to report I'm not as crazy about this one and will likely not re-order. This doesn't mean I dislike it, I just don't love it, just not as nice to me or what I've come to expect from the others I've enjoyed. I can see it working nice as something to mix in for a nice "hint" of flavor of mango in something else, but as a stand alone vape, it's not for me and I absolutely love mango and eat this often. This one took me by surprise. Can't win them all and this should NOT discourage anyone from trying it for themselves. I can see this mixing well with peach beach which is what I will try doing and will probably be very nice so I'm not totally discouraged as of yet!!

Dang I missed this one all together. Thank you for your input. Now this sounds kinda good. I got my hopes up when Kat said Watermelon. I was hoping for a strait one. When I first starting Vaping I used to do a watermelon with menthol. I was a menthol smoker. But now I can't vape a lot of menthol it messes with my breathing and gives me the shakes.

On the subject of fruits..... I rarely will do a fruit vape, and find it very odd that I would like a banana vape. I mean, I like bananas (hmmmm....... wonder if there's a joke here somewhere.... )
but I never thought I'd like the vape. Turns out, I was WRRRRONG. I'm totally hooked on Tobanna (yeah, and fonix).

I was a huge Stephen King fan at one time, but his later works got kinda strange so I veered away......however, The Stand is still my favorite book of all time.

I just found out Stephen King put out a book a few years ago about the Kennedy assassination that got rave reviews....even from critics. Had to go visit Amazon.....something to look forward to. When Mr. King writes well.....he writes really well.

Our posts yesterday got me inspired to revisit Steve.....until he got derailed, he was my favorite author, and I read every book as soon as it came out. Seems he got back on track again, and I missed it. And after looking at a list of all his work and reading reviews, I am thinking that some of his newer stuff is looking like good reading. Rose Madder was the last one I read....and the first half of it was terrific.....then it went off on some tangent that my brain could not fathom, so I gave up on him.

ok i did a little research and it appears that grey goose is distilled 5x. but vodka being vodka, i cant tell the difference between 3x distilled and 15x. in a taste test, id be hard pressed to tell the difference between goose, loyal 9 (the sons of liberty vodka i visited), smirnoff for example which is 3x, or my favorite (why it is i dont really know lol) Titos. or any other vodka thats not housed in a plastic bottle for that matter. perhaps the hangover is less existent on the better stuff. but i always end up crushing beers if im out to get sauced so i never really drink enough hard stuff to get hungover from it.

Howdy Glam and you're right about not having any Gold and BH ruining your day....it's been three days now since i vaped the last of both and i'm having it ROUGH i tell ya!! ha Seriously, i keep checking the USPS site to see where it's at....which now i've realized why purchasing the jug's would be a necessity for me in the future!! Oh yeah....not gonna get caught without these gem's again!!

Oh and PVL sent two samples along with my caddy last week. Backston and Twilight...however, they didn't rock my boat like Gold and BH does. But, i am letting them steep and plan on trying to add some caramel reef to each of them once my order arrives.....which should be in the next day or two! Until then, guess i'll just have to figure out a way to lick the empty bottles til they get here!! *lol*

V8, Yep, i'm using the Nautilus Mini and plan on buying another one in the future, just for backup and i will also get some backup coils as well. But yes, i found out the rebuildable coils can even last some as long as a month or longer. Which i don't plan on em lasting me that long, but even if they last a few weeks, that would sooooo save me some cash, especially since i blow through coils in a few days....mainly due to being a chain vaper! So i figured it wouldn't hurt to learn how to rebuild my own coils and still use my nautilus mini, just having the variety will be nice


Well folks, my next order will include some more samples, mainly i wanna try Line Rider and Harbor Nites...those are the two tobacco's that i've not yet tried out of all of them, so curious to see if they tantalize my tastebuds But, jugs are the way to go on BH and Gold...no doubt about it! Not sure what i was thinking when i placed my order this past Friday, but i only ordered a 30ml bottle of BH and a sample of Caramel Reef....yeah, WHAT was i thinking???!! But all is good....i know now to order these delicious gems in jugs from now on and hopefully by then i will know if i like Line Rider and Harbor Nites.

So guys and gals, I was thinking about a few things NLV, and remembering fondly some aspects of this company that often go unmentioned. There are little things that our vendor of choice has done over the years that are subtle, yet impressive.

The PG/VG ratio, 65/35, is truly the PERFECT ratio of each. Way back, before I discovered NLV, I did take some time out to learn a little DIY, and that was in my beginning stages of vaping. At that time, I would go to some vendor site to buy some eliquid that someone recommended, and I recall often seeing choices as to how I wanted my liquid. Do ya want 90/10, 80/20, and alllllllllllll the way across the spectrum to 100 of PG or VG. HUH? I had no clue what that even meant.

In my "studies" of DIY, it one day dawned on me that a most perfected recipe would have 2/3rds PG and 1/3rd VG. The higher PG would carry the flavor, and the smaller amount of VG would add the body and vapor. They would synchronize beautifully and dance as partners well versed and practiced.

Needless to say, when I found NLV and saw that ALL their flavors were made in these proportions, it was love at first site!


The labels. Just this evening, I was talking to my dearest friend about NLV's labels. They are something we prolly most always overlook, but they are above and beyond what you might find on other vendor's offerings. They are VERY well designed (with that cute little litehouse), and they are waterproof, and "juice" proof. What you all may or may not know about them is that in addition to that, they peel off very easily but retain their shape and appearance if you need or want to put them on a different bottle.

And our bottles. Who uses a special dark bottle with bring orangey-yellow caps?? A dark bottle specifically used to not allow light to come in and disturb the liquid inside. WHO. NLV, that's who.



Like you needed more reasons to love it.

i for one would def. LOVE to see a High VG version of Gold and Bounty Hunter. i absolutely love these 2 flavors, but unfortunatly, my tastes have changed, and i can no longer tolerate the higher VG juices. its just too rough on my throat. dripping it is out of the question. about the only thing i can run my NLV stash in is my trusty old kayfun.

if a max VG version exsisted, i could say with full certainty, i would have a metric azzload on hand at ALL times...haha

Kat.....your glowing report makes me want to order....and I do not need anything. I love reading your "random musings". And I have experimented with DIY a little, and have never even come close to the deliciousness that our mix master at NLV produces. Wish I was closer to Jovey....I could share some until her order comes, which I hope is today.

V8....I truly hope you get to feeling better....I had a touch of fibromyalgia once. It came after my first husband died....I am sure it was stress related, and it lasted about 6 months with twice weekly visits to a chiropractor to help it finally go away. I do not know if he did it, or time healed it....but it was miserable. It was the only time in my life I ever missed any work....and I missed a whole week because I simply could not function.

I am vaping straight Line Rider this morning. (Sorry, Jovey) I have a new coil in my Aspire Vivi, and the Line Rider is tasting divine. I love my mini Nautilus, but to me, the best vaping comes with the Vivi....I think it is the BVCs...they are different than the Nautilus.

Happy Wednesday...I plan on doing as little as possible, but that is usually how I plan my days.

i will second the coils lasting long. depending on the juice, coils can last very long in my (and my fiancee's) experience. i rebuild all my coils so longevity isnt much of a concern for me. but my fiancee uses prebuilt coils so it matters more for her. and seeing how she vapes nothing but Cold Creek, she (and I) couldnt be happier with the performance of coils with this juice. its damn near clear and the juice hardly gunks a coil in a months time. she gets several months per coil. was the same way when she used cartos too. she had some cartos that were still kicking after a year. they got ratty and beat up, but the innards were still pumping away. Cold Creek for the Menthol Coil Longevity Award of the Year!

i respect the 65/35 ratio wholeheartedly. i believe it was in part quite instrumental in me quitting. but now i cant say that im not very intrigued by what a high VG NLV might be like. i'd guinnea pig it, thats for sure
