Guess I'll be "Number 5". Yes, there are some diehard fans here. same as anywhere. I too have tried many of your so-called "premium" brands. Some I like, some I think are complete crap and don't get their appeal. I just don't buy the ones I don't like anymore.

Yep you were one of the 5. Here's the truth:
3 liquids from AIV liked 2 alot 1 was decent
3 from Halo liked 2 alot 1 was decent
2 from SuicideBunny 1 great 1 good
6 or 7 from Nicoticket like most only a couple I don't care much for
3 from AVE 2 I love 1 don't care for
5 from NLV 1 was OK (Bounty Hunter) 4 I don't care for at all.
Bottom line stop hyping NLV up throughout the thread like they are so much better then everything else because they are NOT. This is not opinion this is a fact and the proof is in the price. Supply and demand folks.

Their price is a big part of their Business Plan. It's working. People appreciate affordable quality. Let them steep and revisit them next month. You will probably feel like the ..... we see you as now.

I've been thinking back on when I first found NLV. I don't remember where I heard about it but at the time it was almost never in stock. I had been burned by rave reviews of other liquids and really just wanted small samples of Gold and Bounty Hunter. I hooked up with this group but took everything with a grain of salt. Obviously I ended up liking them, but honestly there are a few NLV flavors that don't suit me. But, I am still very supportive of the brand and will continue to at least try anything they come out with.
Maybe I have simple, unsophisticated taste but there's plenty of market for us.
I remember trying all of Mad Murdock's stuff and wondering how anyone could like some of those, but plenty of people did (and do) and I respect that - and Murdock is a great guy and great member of the community.
AVE is a favorite of mine too, not just because of the product but because Ben and Christie are great people... I watched them get flamed and fried when Ben had personal issues arise and supported them throughout.
Backwoods Brew is another one that, although I don't buy much from anymore, I would defend because Don is another one I have a ton of respect for.
There are several others I could pledge some sort of allegiance to, but as I'm sure is obvious by my "1 of 5" status, Gene and NLV is one vendor who has my respect and support.
So, here's an honest rundown of my NLV experience.
Gold is my favorite, tying sometimes with Bounty Hunter.
Harbor Nite comes in next.
Tappulles would have to squeeze in just below HN I think, and honestly those are the only ones in my "gotta have it" roundup from NLV.
I didn't much care for Twilite and Waffles, either together or separately.
Red Apple was kind of a sleeper for me, I'm not a big fruity vape fan but it smelled so good I had to give it a fair shake. I ended up liking it OK, a bit more than I thought I would since it (to me) has a sort of dry flavor that I like.
Cold Creek.. well it's menthol... I don't get much difference between pure menthols from different vendors so... it's menthol.
Fruit3 and Tropikeyta... Not much to compare them to (see above disclaimer re: not a fruity vape fan). I like them as much as I'd expect. Same goes for Bluberry Beach. not exactly my cup of tea but I haven't given it much of a chance.
As far as Line Rider, Renegade, and NLV4ya I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't dislike them... usually if someone mentions any similarities with a 555 or a RY4 I run the other way. I probably wouldn't have these as an ADV, but they're good for a change for me.
I can't really comment yet on Tobanna or Butterscotch because I haven't given them much attention.
So there it is, my honest experience with NLV. As always, YMMV. I hope the "other 4" don't run me out of here now

Oh my, looks like i have missed some action. JDBaker82, count me as 6 then. I am relatively new and have gone through a few vendors now. I have found good, and I have found bad, and even some mehh juices. I don't recall how I stumbled upon NLV, but decided to give a few a try. I admit, the Gold is by far my favorite. I am not a fanboy by any means, and am in no way associated with NLV or family, cousins third removed, or....well you get it. I call a spade a spade...I LOVE THE GOLD....that's my opinion and my opinion only. If you would like to know my other favorite check out my post. I clearly list them and they are wide varying. I have paid the high price of another vendor....and i will say it is great stuff....not all the flavors but I did find some I really liked. And again, I have not tried all from NLV and probably never will. Some types of flavor profiles I know just don't do anything for me.
So to come here and slam NLV because YOU don't like it is, well, rude. Say your sht and move on.

There's nothing wrong with honest reviews of the ones you happen to like but if you scroll back 30 pages you will find nothing but the same people posting over and over fan noise and anyone that comes looking will think every flavor is a knock it out of the park home run and they are better then every other juice vendor.

If you, JdBaker82, really feel the need to be heard -- create your own personal review and post it in the General Eliquid review sub-forum. That is what it is for.

So, I think if you gave most of these threads a look....those referring to a specific vendor....you will find some of the same things. Honestly I read, read some more, and then read it again, before I try a vendor. I can think of one specifically, seems very popular, and I finally ordered 5 different, well reviewed flavors in profiles that I liked. Out of the mail, I liked one of them, and that was a take it or leave it like. So, they are now sitting, hoping something will come of them. I have had many that were blah out of the mailbox only to turn into something great a few weeks later. Those who say steeping doesn't matter, well in my opinion only, it has helped many juices I have tried. Not all, but many. So I always try it if I think it's something that's almost there but not quite, and it has gotten it there.
All I am saying is, I have wasted (read spent) money on several well regarded juices which have been disappointing. It's part of it. Some of the higher priced items I definitely try to taste somewhere first before dropping $20+ on a 30ml bottle. Some I just give it a go and hope for the best.
And again, on the fanboy thing, I think if you honestly dig through threads, you will see similar stuff. People like what they like and want to tell everyone. Some people just like to talk
. I'm definitely not saying everything from NLV is great, I haven't tried it all, but there are a couple I really like.
and..... there is the problem. Most people won't come talk negative it they don't like something they will move on. I think people need to stop hiding and give the good and the bad reviews not just the good because people do buy based on hype without sampling. This goes for all vendors threads.
