First of course I am a new vaper so I am still looking to find my favorite e-liquid. I just purchased the Vision eGo Spinner and so far its great (ive only vaped maybe 5-6 ml of juice yet though) I purchased "Top Vaper" french vanilla tobacco flavor (i was hoping it to be more like a vanilla flavored cigarette or cigar i was hoping for more of the flavor you get from "Prime Time" if anyone is familliar) I am not looking only for vanilla tobacco flavor but a generally good liquid IDK if its the flavor but im not really into this juice.

Second note on this post is how HARSH the exhale is from vaping it goes down super easy but wow that exhale. Could it be from any oof the following things? I have a spinner so the voltage? the brand of juice? just the flavor of the juice? I wanna figure it out also any juice tips would be appreciated. I have heard 100% VG is the best as a former cigar smoker using PG for humidification disks what is the point of the PG all i can think of is a possible preservative??

Don't expect the first flavor that you ever vape to be your favorite flavor. Most of us experienced vapors have tried literally scores of flavors until we could find 3 or 4 flavors that we would even consider buying again. Sound discouraging? Maybe, but that is the way it is for many people. People's tastes for e-liquid flavors run the gammut and are extremely subjective.

The best advice that I or anyone can give you is to try multiple flavors out on your own vaping devices until you find what you are looking for. Try the smaller trial size bottles or sampler packs from more than one vendor. That way you aren't wasting money on larger bottles of juice that you may not care for; once you find a flavor or two that you like, buy more in a larger quantity.

The most common e-juices use a ratio of pg/vg. Pg is known to carry flavor better, and vg is known to produce more vapor. Together, they generally make a good team. However, there are juices that are 100% pg, and juices that are 100% vg. Some people are hypersensitive to pg; some people find vg to cause an increase of lung secretions. Many of the e-juice vendors offer their juices in various percentages of pg/vg that you can customize as your own.

I would also recommend when picking out flavors, to order from different categories. There are menthols, fruits, candies, deserts, coffee's, adult beverages, even flowers. You might surprise yourself what you end up liking. I was never a fan of black licorice candy, but I do like the new Radiator Pluid made by Mad Murdock that has a black licorice-like flavor. AVE's Boba's Bounty is one of the most popular flavors here on ECF; I tried some and don't care for it much at all.

Since you have a variable voltage device, you may find that many juices' flavor is enhanced at a specific voltage range. For example, I find that most of my fruit flavors are best vaped at under 3.7v, and the coffee flavors are best vaped at 4.0v-4.8v, and my cinnamon flavor turned up all the way to 5.8v.

Expect to experience a lot of experimentation when it comes to finding juice flavors. Try to look at it as a fun exploration or quest. Also realize that years of smoking have damaged you taste buds. They will eventually heal once you stop smoking entirely, but it will take time. Until that happens, the flavors that you dislike now may become favorites, and vice versa.

Some juices definitely benefit from some steeping time. Especially the ones that are custom made to your order.

Below are a couple of my favorite juice vendors that happen to offer sampler packs and have a huge selection to choose from. Vaperite is currently offering a 20% off coupon code "20 OFF" at checkout.

Vaperite | E Liquid Flavors and Organic E Cigarette Liquid

Organically Flavored E-liquid | Virgin Vapor | Electronic Cigarette Organic e-Liquid | Electronic Cigarettes

I think every bodies' starting experience is different. I probably made the most common mistake: thinking I needed a juice that tasted like my brand of stinkies...never found anything close.

After watching and reading reviews, I decided to try Boba's Bounty from Alien Visions. Took a risk and ordered a medium sized bottle. Within two days of trying it, I knew I had found a "base" juice, one I can always go back to. Ordered a large quantity of it, and am now trying to find a collection of juices to use.

Some juices are "all day" type flavors, some are great for an hour or so in the evening, but I couldn't see vaping them all day. The best advice I could give you is to stick with it, someplace out there is a juice just for you.

Thanks for that information. Being new has a learning curve (esp since thiere is very little to no documentation on this stuff just what you get from others really is what i have found) It took me a week of research before i purchased my first and only batt. I still have no real knowlege about atomizers cartomizers and others like tanks and what I currently have a clearomizer which i believe is a tank cartomizer hybrid (i have heard it called many things but i remember the name stardust most easily) So far i like this style "mizer" although i want to try new liquids and ai believe the following month or 2 i will be buying a lot of samples and i got a feeling it would be best to use different "mizers" for each flavor? i have seen online videos of people taking them apart cleaning and such and most of them are people with like 20+ Cartomizers that need cleaning or thown away anyway AFAIK.

I just got so much knowlege from you baditude but if you or anyone else as knowlegable comes back i would love some info or link to "mizer" info (sorry for saying "mizer" i have just coined that idk if anyone actually uses it but to me atomizer cartomizer all are mizers in the` name is thier a colective name used on the forums so i can be part of the in crowd ? LOL)

I want to buy some cheap "mizers" whatever they may be to try new juice any ideas i dont really care how they look on my spinner but i need 510 ego compatable?

Lastly what could be the cause for the harsh exhale?? I have top Vapor liquid and dont know the PV/VG ratio but maybe I am sensitive to one of them and would like a liquid with a PG dominant or a VG dominant blend, i might have to find that out for myself. I dont believe it would be a heat issue or something like that because i have vaped before but not with e iquid only with actual tobacco and i know the feeling of hot vapor. IDKi was kinda expecting Vaping to be smooth like Shisha (thinking about it right now i am glad to make the vapor switch i have smoked soo much and i am glad i am young enough that i hopefully wont die from lung throat or oher smoking elated cancers) although i doubt i will stop vaping as i love it and will just be using nicotine free liquid i love that!
Sorry for all that basically does anyone know why the exhale (not inhale i can inhale untill my lungs are full but exhale s a whole different story) is so harsh for me? i suppose i may try a 100% VG and a 100% PG in the same flavor and see if either is smoother to e so i can choose my blend? I just dont want to spend the extra money if someone knows which VG or PG is harsher? I figure having the spinner VG is not as important as if its for vapor production i can use a PG dominate and turn up the volts for more vapor and get full flavor?

OK i am typing too much i tend to do that and right now i have no computer (in the shop) and my laptop just died too (im cursed) the laptop is like 3-5 years old so ill probably pick up cheap one for like $300 that will fit all my needs . (I enjoy using it on my coffee table in the morning with my coffee and dont game on it at all thats what the dual Video card Desktop is for. Sorry for off subject i just wanted to say in my long winded way about why my posts may be hard to read as i am using my tablet right now and it has no spellcheck (at least i dont have it installed or something idk but yeah very difficult to edit especialy) so sorry i am doing my best currentlyS

Summary of questions Ffor thoes who did not read the backstory but want to contribute, TIA for your Reply!

Why is my exhale so harsh is VG or PG known to be harsher than the other?

Any info on differences of atomizers, cartomizers, etc?

Where can i find cheap "mizers" fir my vision ego spinner 510 threded and what should i use? (i would like what is reccomended for trying new juices without trying to clean one out)

Extension to the above question, i have seen tanks are these something i would rather use for testing liquid as they seam to be easy to clean? i could be tottally wrong though thats why i ask.

As a pipe smoker i am not a stranger to having a LOT of options to try and it takes a while to find what you like.
Anyone know of a good reliquid to try that tastes similar to an english blend pipe tobacco (my favorite pipe tobaccos are Cornell & Dell Epiphany for english blend and am a big fan of samual gawth kendel kream almost all the aromatics SG makes thoes are the only tobacco products i would love to emulate the flavor in a vape. I may make a new post about this last question as it is a little off topic andin a new post with a better title would get more attention.
