looking for schematics for 5v vaping

I've been looking for a decent schematics so I can do some modding to a mod, or make a new mod, or whatever. the problem I'm having is I can't seem to find any schematics for 5v with a 3 pin regulator, or even a 4 or a 5 pin.. if someone can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.

Are you using a linear regulator or a switching regulator? If you look at the data sheet for the device you want to use, it will usually show some example circuits that you can use for reference.

Most 3 pin IC regulators (LMXXX @ radio shack) are pretty self-explanatory - Pins A and C are placed in-line on the circuit, and pin B is the control voltage, referenced to the output. The only other thing you need to consider is making sure that the input and output connections are AC - coupled to ground with some small caps (~.1uF).
