So I am trying to make my own okr mod i used this diagram from here on ecf

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/modding-forum/191607-easy-okr-t-vv-mod.html

and it works. Kinda. What happens is it will not fire anything unless the power is at least 50%. The voltage goes from 3.5 to 6.5.
There is a huge voltage drop. If i set the pot to 6.5 and fire with nothing on just a meter it will read 6.5. If I screw anything (2ohm cart - .5 dripper) it will drop to 4.x and the hit is very weak. if the pot is set lower it will not fire and the meter shows a flickering 0 or it is just off. Does any one have any ideas what i did wrong?

Here is a pic of my "bread board"

It was the breadboard. t hits like a champ now and has ~.1 volt drop. Now I just need to get in a box.

thanks for the help!

Woot another high power hobby modder..

You gotta try Breaktru's Ti 4050c mod it has a 0.00v drop, its unbelievable.
Never mind the data sheet 2.5amp max it is hugely underrated, he has tested it up to 30 watts successfully, I vape mine @ 20-25 watts everyday.

.44+ (Plus) mini Boost Box Mod Variable Voltage

Tested 4050c with a 1.8 ohm atomizer 3.7v--6.2v 0.000v drop @ atomizer
