I agree about Kanger , good tanks but mod's , no thanks . Never had a Smoke but had a Cloupor and the chipset is terrible , turns on/off randomly etc...

You are right about sigelei and P4U 's ipv series , used to be much more solid but unfortunately they have also gone down the cheaper is more profitable than quality path .
I'd pay $70 for an aluminum Sig 213 body with no TC and a reliable, efficient chip. 150w, fires down to 0.05ohm and a 2 amp charger.
All these manufacturers are in a wattage/features war. No one cares about efficiency at all. Or quality.
I knew ipv stopped caring when they left out the final firmware update for the 3LI. Stainless/custom TCR.

No one really makes VW mods anymore. You have to pay for broken TC so they could list that as a feature.

The cheapest most powerful device I know of is the Tesla Invader line but no TC and no charging.
You're asking alot out of $50. :)

The Smok Alien may at least be worth a look. I am not sure about passthrough, but at <80 watts, batteries should last all day at least.
The Alien ticks all the boxes and comes with the TFv8, which has an RBA. The only downside, if you can call it that, is that it's a dual battery instead of the triple battery in the RX200s.

I'll definitely be watching some YouTube reviews of the Alien.

I have the Smok Nano and I like it. I usually rotate between it and the Pico when I'm on the go. I have no complaints about the Nano. Got the kit at Vapenw.com for about $40
Which is exactly what I'm looking for; something to stick in my pocket on the way out the door at work.

Might double check if a kit (mod and tank) comes with the RBA. Mine did not, but I have enough drippers and RTA's that it wasn't important to me. And at the price, the tank was like a really nice prize in the Cracker Jacks box. :D

Dual or triple batteries is pretty much a personal preference, For me, I prefer the smaller, lighter size as that is more comfortable in my hands and easier to carry around. And I always take another dual battery mod along even just going for the day, just in case one goes south on me. With 4 other dual 18650 mods, I couldn't see marrying up 3 batteries and a back-up set. But as I said, personal preference.

Good news is, there are a lot of good choices! Good luck! :vapor:

When I looked on Smok's website it listed the RBA deck as coming with the Mini TFv8 that came with the Alien, but you're not the only one who's had inconsistencies with stuff like this. My (genuine) Subox Mini kit that was supposed to come with the RBA+ deck only came with the RBA+ stamped chimney and the standard RBA deck that has the tiny airflow holes and no extra juice channels.

I was mostly just thinking about the triple battery mods because of the higher battery life of having the extra battery.

Look at the VGOD pro box mod . Its only 150 true watts but it has an on-board fast charging board .
The VGOD looks like a relatively basic decent mod, but the price is a little over what I'd like to get both mods for.

In fact, I could buy the RX200s, an Alien kit, and a Nano kit for the $120 the VGOD is going for and have 3 mods, as well as two decent tanks, at the end of the day.

If you consider the alien... I think it is an option.
Especially if you can get one on the cheap.
I've got one, i like it alot. The best thing
about it being its size and the display. TC... i have no idea yet.
Sturdiness... hmmmm... seems well built,
but I don't exactly have confidence that it'll last much longer than a year,
but we'll see.

Small single battery mod? The Pico. Perfect for out and about with up to a 23 mm tank on it.
We already went over the Pico and I've thoroughly investigated it.

Although it ticks all of the boxes I'm not a fan of the size (the physical size of the box) and the limitations of only being able to use 22mm or smaller atomizers, the screw on battery cover (which can't be removed if a tank is installed), and the bottom buttons.

It does do everything I would or could ask of a single battery mod (at this time), but it's just not for me.

The battery cover can be removed with an atty screwed on, and the mod fits 23 mm tanks. As for the physical size, is it too small?

I just want to make it clear that I don't want to dissuade anyone considering purchasing the Pico, and I'm not meaning to knock any current Pico owners. I don't own one and I'm glad that KenD is setting the record straight on the battery cap. I don't own one so I'm just repeating what I've been told about it by others.

I'm positive that the Pico is an outstanding mod and it offers a lot of good features. It's not my style, I don't find it's design or functionality aesthetically appealing, really in any way.

It does everything a person could want a single 18650 mod to do.I just don't like it.

I also realize that "tiny" is subjective, but I don't like the size of it; it's too small for me; I'm not saying I have baseball mitt/Mickey Mouse glove hands, and I'm not in any way implying that those who own or would like to own a Pico have laughably tiny little baby hands.

I just don't like it.

Take a peek at the Coolfire 4 18650. 75W, single replaceable 18650 battery, feels good in the hand, holds a 25 mm tank without overhang. Usual bells and whistles, not firmware upgradable if that's a must for you, personally it doesn't matter as it works fine as is.
Upgradable firmware isn't a deal breaker. I bought the Koopor Plus thinking it'd be upgradable before anyone really reviewed it, with the assumption that Koopor/Smok would've learned (from the Mini) not to release a device that can only be upgraded by mailing it in or purchasing a somewhat proprietary tool and software; I was wrong and so was everyone else who assumed that.

Not having it when it isn't expected is not an issue. It'd be nice, but it isn't a deal breaker.

A fixed 510 is a 100% deal breaker. Even the horrible "spring loaded" 510 on the iStick 100w is better than the fixed 510 on my Subox Mini, which is about to go to the silver filing cabinet in the sky.

Anyway, the Coolfire ticks boxes, but I've never been a fan of liPo. I like replaceable cells, like the 18650s.

Just to clarify, this Coolfire uses an 18650 battery, not a Lipo. I avoid Lipos as much as possible, as I don't like an otherwise working mod to die because the battery will no longer hold a charge.

Sorry, I just googled "Coolfire 4" and looked through the first few hits. The Coolfire mods must be pretty big on liPo because when I searched "Coolfire 4 18650" the images turned up a bunch of batteries and the first site that had the actual mod was the 3rd or 4th hit. I'll definitely be investigating that mod. Hopefully it comes as not a kit because I don't think I'd be a huge fan of the iSub McTank.

Yeah, Innokin doesn't like using replaceable batteries. This thing is a 75W version, rather than the 100W Lipo CF4. There are two versions, one with the tank, and one in a "travel kit" which is just the mod and a travel case (which is actually pretty nice and has a built in battery tester). Here's a link to know which one I'm talking about Innokin Coolfire 4 TC 18650 75W Temperature Control Express Several colors available for it.
