Neither of those work I'm afraid, or at least may not work in the way you are thinking or want. I've done a bit of research in this area fairly recently, and I'm afraid I've yet to find anything that works, or at least works in the same way nicotine does in terms of providing throat hit.

Throat Hit Plus relies primarily on PGA to boost the purported throat hit, but in my review it did virutally nothing unless I mixed it at 50%, and even then it was barely effective, leading me to rename it "The Throat Whisperer."

Vapor Renu relies on capsaicin (the stuff in hot peppers and police pepper spray), much like Totally Wicked's Diablo Loco and, in part, FlavourArt's Flash E-liquid. It does provide throat hit, but it's a very different kind of throat hit. It hits you differently and it creates more of a light burn than the firm but smooth thump from a nicotine hit. Some people do like this, but I found it rather unpleasant and not very complimentary to nicotine's hit.
