Hi guys,

I'm new here and I want to get started with ecigs. But visiting the Health Cabin site proved confusing as a first-timer...there are just so many spare parts that I don't know what I should be buying.

I watched some Youtube videos and a lot of people seem to like the JoyE Ego and 510.

I'm wanting something that produces tons of smoke, has an easy drag, and decent (doesn't have to be great) battery life. I don't care about anything else (size, price etc ).

Can someone please recommend me something to buy here?

Thanks,

Mark:confused:

Howdy, and welcome to ECF! I don't have an ego, but it has a huge following. So I doubt you can go wrong there. Here's an idea though. NHaler • Smoking Alternatives I really like the IGO. It's not the perfect set up by far, but it's easy to use, fairly cheap, and will pop an eye out with the vapor production. Hope that helps, and have a good one!

The eGo is a really good starter kit that can produce tons of vapor. Finding juice that meets what you want is going to be harder, if not impossible to find. Since there's not burning tobacco, duplicating the taste just isn't possible. The nicotine level is one of the things that's going to give that "kick" you're talking about. You might want to check out Liberty-Flights. They have a UK site and they sell starter kits, accessories and juice.

Welcome to the world of Vaping ;) I LOVE my EGO, and I have 3 mods + an Ego, and I still use my Ego all the time. Ego / Riva batteries are about the same, but if you get a 1000+mah battery it's going to last longer. That way you can just plug it up and it can charge while you're sleeping.

Tons of vapor is not something to expect from tanks or cartomizers because both like thin juices with high-PG low-VG bases. VG is the stuff that makes more visible vapor while dulling TH and irritation, dulling flavor somewhat and potentially adding more sweetness. So if you use tanks you will have to get by with 30% VG at most I think. if you can only get Chinese juices then try DKTab and USA-Mix. Try plain PG first to see if you like the flavor. Then if you mix 10ml of one as a VG juice w/ 30ml of the same one as a PG juice that will make 75PG/25VG and should work well in tanks and make reasonable vapor.

Choose manual batteries for better hits and batteries safe from damage by leaks.

For more/bigger hits upsize to Ego which can use LR atomizers and cartomizers

A lot will depend on the juice you use; there are plenty of opinions available on the best types and flavors. The Ego is a fine start, but I have yet to find a juice delivery system for it that meets my own needs.

I am getting tons of vapor on a Boge Leo with cartomizer, if I use the right juice. The Leo's a best buy, in my opinion. Pass-through batteries are as low as $18, and the cartomizers are between $3 and $4 each, but hold 4ml of juice and seem to last a good long while. If you're a computer user you probably already have the mini USB cable you need to charge the battery; with a pass-through battery you can vape while charging. Under $30 for starter hardware is a bargain in my book -- I wish I had the money back that I spent on my first D1 clone starter kit.

Good luck in finding the device that works best for you. Everyone has opinions and different tastes, so trial and error seems to be the best course of action.

Both the Riva and eGo kits from LF are great and I recommend giving them a hard look. Another kit I recommend researching is the SLB Kgo. The batteries in that kit have been getting good reviews and they're priced decent for 1100mah batts. I also recommend trying the duel coil cartomizers and those batteries will power them just fine. You'll have an instant fog machine. Just search them in youtube for some vids. Good luck and keep us posted on what you get. :vapor:

Definitely an ego fan with 2.0 ohm cartomizers. Add dekang usa mix to that and u have a mini fog machine. So much so that it takes my breath away if I'm not ready. Lol. Not sure about Australia suppliers but liberty-flights is probably one of the best price wise. A riva is even cheaper and basically is the same except the riva operates at a slightly higher voltage.

thanks for all the replies guys. Some of them got me even more confused than ever :)

I'll have a hunt around and post some links back her on different ecigs to get your opinions, i think that'll be easier. I'll check out the EGO first.

I couldn't wait with juice research so i bought a starter pack of Elusions last night, costed me $170 + with additional cartridges. That was exp but I guess i'm too impatient. I'll spend this week doing research on eJuices and the best place to get them. I'm worried about Chinese juices tho, coz u never really know what they put in there...

Anne_Marie: Do you get a similar throat hit with the Ego as a normal cig?

Also guys, if i get an EGO, should I get the standard starter kit or the EGO Tank Starter kit?
