I currently have two iTaste VV V3's, one Vamo V5 and one little mini 400mah battery. I'm looking to add another battery to the arsenaul and I would like it to be at least 800 mah, VV, passthrough with micro usb and not too large. I like everything about the iTaste other than how easy it is to tip over. Is there anything on the market in the $30-40 range that offers everything the itaste offers and is more sturdy?

Personally, I've had a good bit of luck with the eGo-V V2 Mega or V3 Mega. The V2 has 1200 mAh, the V3 has 1300 mAh. Though there are 2 things to note about these batteries: They use a mini (not micro) USB cable that comes with it, and to be honest they aren't the most sturdy. I wouldn't try to stand them up on a desk, the slightest knock will cause them to fall over. But if you have a decent battery holder, they should be perfect!

It's kinda against the rules for me to post a link to where you can get it, but quite a lot of places carry them and they should be right in your price range. The V2 is VV and the V3 is VV/VW.

In order to meet your requirement of less tipsy than a VV3 but still provide pass-through, micro usb and VV/VW for under $40, only the MVP meets that & only on a few sites. The next closest but no pass through that I can think of would be the Coolfire 2 but it's also over budget. Maybe Innokin will come out with a double size VV3 or half size MVP.

There are a few converted battery packs like the iphone case thing and a couple others based on the same idea but they are also budget busters. The battery pack alone is pushing $40 and then to mod it into a decent looking APV takes way more creativity & engineering savvy than I'll ever have.
