Im looking for an 18650 copper . My price range is under $100.00
Would love a buttont that wont get hot.
I dig the look penny mod but with so many clones out there its hard to tell the good from the bad.
I would pefer to buy from a b&m store vs fastech.
If the susgestion is a clone please let my know who is making it.

I tried the search function didnt have much luck. My search fu is awful tonight.
Thankyou.

Stingray x mod is copper on the inside... And cheap... If not I suggest an Xxix clone

I second this, I got a Stingray X from Hcigar and I am pretty happy with it. It's my second mod. Button was a little crunchy and soft but I put upgrade magnets into it and filed down the bottom piece of the switch housing. In retrospect I wish I had gotten the regular copper stingray instead from SKX or infinite because I like that switch housing a little more, or the stainless steel stingray X because the black is smudging a bit. But out of the box, it blew my Nemesis clone out of the water. There's a local shop by me carrying the infinite version for about 55ish, but it can be found in the mid 30's online.

I bought a Stingray X mod as well. I bought it from a local B&M store and there's pretty much no way for me to tell who actually manufactured it as all it says on the plain black box is "MOD". But when I've compared it to reported authentic units, it's pretty much identical, actually to be honest, in some respects aesthetically it's superior to the authentic.

I have a Cartel clone that was not made by Infinite. It has all copper pins, which I like. I'm not sure who made it, so this is of no help to you, but it's heavy, excellent threading, great recessed button, and the patina is pretty.

ALSO, be careful what you order! I got a Vanilla clone from ebay which was advertised as having copper contacts. It had ss contacts, with a very thin veneer of copper; the ss was showing through the copper. I managed to scratch some of the plate off without damaging a fingernail. I asked the seller, and she said that "copper contacts" does not mean ALL copper contacts lol and she wouldn't take it back. I've heard of others having the same problem with various copper clones, so look out for that :)

The only drawback with copper is that you need to clean it frequently.

As far as clones go, you can't really go wrong with infinite or HCigar. Both great quality. Fasttech can be a crapshoot as to which brand you get. Vaperoyalty labels all their clone brands.

Ad far as tge crunchy button on the stingray X, take a pencil and drae on your threads a bit. The graphite will lubricate the threads and should make it glide much better. Worked great on mine.

I know that you said your budget was under $100, but if you could put a little more towards it, I would say a copper SMPL mod. Authentic, USA made, $120. I've seen nothing but praise about these. I just ordered a brass one myself today.

Outside of that, my top 2 picks have been mentioned. Stingray X and XXIX. SXK made amazing clones of both of these.

Copper vapelyfe set (clone) by Tesla
Comes with 510 top cap and hybrid 4 coil dripping atty.
$43 shipped

Recessed button
No hot button
Flawless performance
One of the best mods I've used.
I've got a Tesla Penny clone and I'm really happy with it as well. It's got very smooth threads and it came out of the box with the magnet switch instead of a spring.
