So far, the only "sweet" flavor that I have found that actually tastes sweet is cinnamon red hot. I've tried cinnamon roll, butterscotch, vanilla, candy cane, and several others; most of them with extra flavoring, and none of them taste sweet. Any advice would be welcome. Thanks in advance. P.S. Could you tell me from whom your flavors were purchased?

Hi - I seem almost immune to "sweet." :( I got a bottle of straight sucralose from TFA, which tastes insanely sweet on my finger, but I can barely taste it if added to a vape.

Another sweetener often used is Ethyl maltol, which is the cotton candy-type sweet. I got some as sweet as I could order, plus as many flavor shot offered from ECBlend, and I can taste the sweet, but to me it has a "dry" aftertaste like real cotton candy. I currently have a mixture of the cotton candy, sucralose and marshmallow in a tank and I'm almost getting the sweetness that I want, but I haven't added any flavors yet - I'm afraid it will make the sweet taste go away. This isn't DIY, I just mix up flavors I get from vendors (except the sucralose).

Stevia is another sweetener some people use, but I've never tried it.

If you find a killer sweet vape, please let me know.

If you've only recently started to vape you may be having some trouble with your taste buds, like Ocelet seems to be speaking of. Many of us have noticed big changes in our tasting ability during the first few weeks of vaping, and for me at least, I noticed a huge spike in my ability to taste the sweet stuff about 10 days into this. Now I crave the sweet stuff, especially since I seem to be a lot more sensitive to the sweets. My favorite is Hype from Alien Visions, but I think they are closed now. There are tons of sweet vape juices out there. You just keep looking and trying as many flavors as you can and I'm sure you'll eventually find what you are looking for.

I like the sweet vapes, too. Caramel Cheesecake with double flavor shots from ECBlend is pretty sweet. You can also buy sweetener to add to your juices to make them as sweet as you like. Mt Baker Vapor has 15ml for $2.99.

The sweetener from Mt Baker Vapor is pretty good...but You (I) have to use a good bit of it to taste it when mixed with other flavorings. For 2.99 though, it's worth it.

I noticed from experience and from watching the boards here that taste buds go through lots of changes in the first year of vaping. There where times I couldn't even taste the vape, and I've noted others posting the same thing in the first year. You may be going through your first "taste change" and nothing may help. There is one of the down sides of vaping. Some folks just vape a plethora of different flavors to "shock" their taste buds, others talk about drinking a glass of ice water with lots of ice.

Personally, I just suck it up and wait. I may switch flavors to something NOT sweet ie a chocolate mix with 0 sweet in it. You'll find your feet just give it a chance.

I use ez-sweetz in my DIY flavors. It's sucralose dissolved in water, with none of the fillers that they put in the powdered sucralose. It is very concentrated. We buy it from amazon in large bottles because we also use it in our coffee, but you can get a free sample here: Results for Request a FREE Sample

I will say that when I first started vaping nothing seemed sweet enough to me. I started making my own juices and I'd put a couple or 3 drops of ez-sweetz in maybe 50 ml of juice. That amount started to become insanely sweet to me, like choking sweet. So I started cutting back on how much sweetener I used. Now I put one drop in 100 ml of juice and it tastes just sweet enough. So, perception of sweetness can definitely change over time.

This.

Get a sample bottle of EZ SweetZ....If its the dark blue capped bottle its their super concentrate. ONE drop can sweeten things up in a 15 mill bottle or less, easily......don't put TWO in a small bottle!
