I am new to vaping, 3 weeks old. I have graduated to sub ohm vaping, with a IPV mini 2, and a Sense Herakles tank. Loving the box mod, and really loving the Herakles, its absolutely amazing. The amount of vapor is crazy!!!! And the flavor is incredible!!!!

Anyway, I'm looking for other sub tank suggestions, and non sub ohm tank suggestions, I have some higher MG ejuice that I want to use up, but the sub tank makes it bruns the crap out of my throat!!!

I use Subtank Mini for about 2/3 months. Absolutely in love with this tank. You can get a 0.5 ohm coil and 1.2 ohm coil for a manufactured coil or the coil that made by Kangertech. Also, you get a RBA Base so you can rebuild your coil just like a Lemo. Also, this tank doesn't need a huge power like almost all subohmtank does. You can use a 25-30 Watts with the "almost" same result of flavor as 50 Watts on the Atlantis.

Subtank suggestion - Horizontech Arctic IMO the best subtank on the market
Plus tank suggestion - Youde Goblin awesome flavour

You can get 1.2 ohm coils for the arctic bu I exclusively use te 0.2 ones
I was reading up on the kanger, I've been eying them since I started, they just look really well built.
Trying to get my hands on one at the local vape shop, but they unfortunately don't have any. Did the plus also have the same OCC 1.2, and the OCC 0.5? And what were the other coils that a couple of you mentioned? I'm still learning, the more I learn though the less complicated it all seems.

the subtank plus uses the same coils as the mini.

the first one to come out was the 'subtank'; big fail.
then they put out the subtank mini, using a different coil from the subtank. success
then they put out the subtank nano, which uses the same square coil as the mini, but not the optional rba coil.
then finally the put of the subtank plus, using the same coils as the mini

Freemax Starre is by far the best subohm tank out there, but you need a very high powered mod to run it. Unless you have a mod capable of hitting at LEAST 70W, don't bother with the Starre. If you do, the flavor and vapor production easily blows away the Kanger Subtank Mini. Only the Herakles comes even close to it for vapor and flavor.

If you've got a 50W or lower mod the the Kanger Subtank is probably your best bet. I've heard some people say the Arctic or the Atlantis has better flavor, but both of those lack choices in coils, and neither includes an RBA deck which is a really good thing to have.

Alternatively, get away from tanks with premade coils and get a really high quality RTA, especially one capable of subohming. Personally, I'm in love with the Squape R, it's far better than the Kayfuns I own. Most versatile and easiest to build on tank I've ever seen.

RTA's are the way to go, I personally got sick of buying tanks with pre-made coils, Last tank i had was atlantis aspire, and the coils were 50/50 would juice the .... out of them and would either taste great or a nasty burning taste.

I been using a Goblin tank past month, thing rips and save a ton of money building my own coils compared to buying the pre-made ones, was frustrating at first getting the wicking right, but is totally worth it.

I've got just about all the sub ohm tanks. For flavor it's hard to beat Herakles. Freemax Starre is also at the top. Someone mentioned Arctic its ok for vapor but imo flavor is muted plus the tank doesn't breakdown for good cleaning. Atlantis 2 great vapor but muted flavor. Subtank Mini good flavor but not enough vapor for me. I've got 12 tanks but only use Herakles and Starre.

You should try the Squape R with the W deck. If you get the wicking wrong then there is something wrong with you. It's by FAR the easiest RTA I've ever worked with. Nearly fool proof. Just lay the tool that you wrapped your coil around into the groove on the deck, twist the wires around the screws and tighten them down. The deck is non-conductive so you don't have to worry about wires touching it. Then slide your tool out of the coil, thread your cotton/rayon in, cut it flush with the edge of the deck, give it a little fluff and wet it down with juice. It's literally just that easy.

Not Square, the Squape R.

If you want to save some money, buy the EhPro Squape R clone. It's by far the best clone of the Squape R. Just make sure you get one that comes with 3 decks. They typically cost around $40-$45 for the ones with 3 decks included. You'll get the S (Standard) deck, the C (Curved) deck, and the W (Wide) deck.

The Standard deck is for 1.2ohm+ microcoils with 50/50 or higher PG juices. It has slightly smaller juice channels. (Standard size juice channels for something like the Kayfun)
The Curved deck is for people who want to use silica wicks and add a flavor wick on top. The juice channels are curved to accommodate the additional wick.
The Wide deck is for low to subohm builds and/or high VG juices. The space for the coil and juice channels are significantly wider to hold a wider diameter coil and a thick wick with high VG juices.

I personally only use the W deck, but if you don't buy the EhPro Squape R that comes with all 3 decks then it will only have the standard deck and you'll have to buy the W deck separately, and that costs more than the version with all 3 decks included.

I have a 70w ipv mini 2 with efest 2500 mah 35a batteries. So if I read right the tank your suggesting to be the best is a RTA and it's a square are with the rebuildable W deck?

Its called a Squape Reloaded. The original is made by Stattqualm.

The only good clone is made by EHPro.

You can use different decks in it, but the W deck is the most popular.
