Looking for the best 510/eGo compatible PT

Been smoke-free for about 11 days now. Loving my 510s and 'TorneGos' and I'm looking to add a few compatible PTs to prolong my batteries' lives. I'm assuming 510 type PTs are made that use the same attys and cartridges, yes?

Can anyone suggest a particular model and/or seller(s)? There are so many out there that's it's hard to tell who's got the best product at the best price, so any suggestions would be much appreeshed!

I was also curious about a few other things, like how long a PT lasts. Do they burn out eventually? And I thought I saw a video review where someone mentioned PTs can damage or disable usb ports. Is there a way to avoid this? I use an older (2006) model iMac, if it matters.

madvapes has a couple different styles. They have a general 510 sit-and-go USB pass through and a 5V one. I got the 5V one, and to protect my computer, just in case, I also got the 2 amp/USB adapter so I can keep it plugged into a standard electric outlet rather than my USB ports. Supposedly the biggest problem is that the wires tend to break at the plug ends, and so some people have recommended putting electrical tape on them to sort of reinforce and protect them from any tension, some say with a little bit looped and taped and others say in sort of an Ace bandage on the ankle kind of thing. I think they also come in an auto and manual variety, some have in-line batteries that charge while you use them (these apparently are safest if you're going to actually keep it connected to the computer as opposed to an adapter).

I can only speak to the manual 5V and adapter set up I have. It was actually a good way to find out whether I liked the higher voltages or not. If you're stuck at a desk anyway, it's pretty convenient. It's really nice with cartomizers, and I can keep that loaded with a "work" flavor and keep my eGo standing at the ready with other flavors just to break things up a little.
