Hi all, first post here. Im looking to upgrade my entire vaping arsenal. I want the best pv, atty's, juice(i know its entirely subjective) and accessories i can get for around $500

I smoked for 10 years and have been off analogs now for about 2 years. I started out with crappy 510's, moved on to the ego and have been enjoying it for a while now. Now im ready to move on to the next level. Up until now ive been getting most of my juice and atomizers from liquidxpress (i like their honey flu cured, berry tobacco and cherry menthol). I ordered an ego twist and some pink spot to hold me over after a recommendation from grimmgreen. I'm considering a provari or darwin. I'm partial to 306 bridgeless atomizers but the only other thing ive tried were 510 cartomizers which i never got great vapor from (maybe they will work better with higher voltage?)

So there you have it. What do you think is the best pv/atomizer set up and whats your favorite juice? Would you recommend a tank? 901, 808 or 510?

Thanks in advance

Wow, that's a big question that is going to start a firestorm of debate. Best for me is the Provari V2 with DID rebuildable atomizer. I still use Cisco 306 (Avid Vapor) fir dripping and juice tasting. Provari has a 510 connector so any standard 510 stuff will fit, but the only thing besides DIDs I use anymore are Ikenvape 801 Max Fusion cartomizers (with 510/801 stealth adapter) in DCT 3.5ml tanks (just easier sometimes).

On the juice thing, depends or flavors you like. My favorites are
Tobacco flavors: Boba's Bounty, Gorilla Juice (Alien Visions) and IKV RY4 Gold (VG from Ikenvape)
Sweet flavors: Malty Toffee and Green Apple (Backwoods Brew), After Dinner D'Lite (Juicy Vapor), Truth Serum and Peach Green Tea (Rawr Vapor), Organic Wild Watermelon (Virgin Vapors)

Good luck in your quest.

Provari. No question. I like the Cisco 306's in a DCA but I'm also really liking the Phoenix and have been leaning more towards it lately. And for the price I'm not sure it can be beat. But for me this combo is as good as I've found.

Juice. Right now I'm all about gandalf and mocha java at HHV. Bobas and gorilla juice are some of my other favs.

Im not sure if im ready to get into building my own atomizers. are they really that much better than pre built attys?

Yes, they're amazing. The only part you rebuild is the coil and the wick. Once you get the hang of it, you can literally build a wick and wrap it in less than 5 minutes. Cool part is coils last about a month and wicks can last up to 6 months. Flavor/Vapor/TH is like dripping with a ~3ml tank connected (endless plumes of rock solid vaping...)

Even if you're not ready for the RBA's, the Provari with Cisco 306's and IKV Max Fusions is a master blaster setup. Provari also works really well with standard Boge 3.0ohm cartos @5.0v.

I have been playing with a phoenix, I didn't want to spend a lot on a higher-end rebuildable in case I ended up not liking it. I love my HH.357s and can't build a phoenix setup to even compare, even with SS mesh. Maybe I'm not using the best RBA, but I like the HH- plus I only have one 'primary' vape that I use basically all day, every day, and a couple others that I'll puff on here and there. So its not like I need multiple HHs, I use one at a time and use other attys for my other flavors.

Yes. The provari you will not be disappointed. See if you can find a post where someone regretted buying one. Hint...there isn't one.

For me the Phoenix is rather simple for such a great vape. There's not much to rebuilding them at all. The hh357 is a very good atty but for $20+ I can rebuild nearly 100 coils myself and still get an excellent vape. I've been on the waiting list for a GG Penelope for a while now. The more expensive rebuildables are a lot harder to find. They sell out quick.

Just to add, if you buy a Provari and aren't happy with it you will have no problem selling it in the classifieds for close to what you paid.

You're going to get 532,347,353,217,845 people parroting what they have heard and telling you the Provari is the best but, in the very near future, there's another APV coming out that threatens to destroy the Provari, both in price, and performance. It's called the Vario. I recommend if you don't have some EGO Twists to grab a couple of those and hold on til the Vario comes out and gets some expert reviews.

If you want to see the Vario's specs then check it out here. It's $79, about half the price of a Provari, it looks better IMO, it has a better connection that allows for stardusts without an adapter (the Provari needs an adapter) and it will have superior airflow to the Provari. It also is a 5amp device to Provaris 3.5amps.

As for a Genesis atty, they aren't always as great as everyone says. Here's a review on the Zenesis Z Atty Pro. Zenesis is commonly considered to be the best maker of commercial genesis atomizers and after a 6 month wait to get one at $150 the guy wants to sell it:

There's always going to be the next best thing coming out. But until its used by the masses for a few years and excels at both performance and customer service the provari is going to be a safe bet. There's a reason why so many ppl love it and why you see all the "pro vapers" using them. I'll be looking at the vario the same as I have all the other APV's. We're all looking for the best device possible for the money. At the current time IMO that's the provari.

I am confused what does the provari do that my $45 vv gripper doesnt? Also as far as attys go i havent found anything that outperforms the cisco aero from avidvaper. I have a hh357 and it is good but twice the price of the aero i have some that are two and half months old and vape great. Same design as the hh. As far as juice goes anything made by joe castro papa smurf is amazing. Let the battle begin.
