Looking for the big TH

OK,

Here we go. I cannot find any juice out there that gives me the "knock the back of your throat off" kind of TH that I need to satisfy my smoking jones. So here's what I did.

I went to TastyVapor and orderd a bottle of custom mix:

Three flavors:
Wintergreen
Peppermint
Spearmint

36mg nicotine, 80% PG with 20% VG (I love that thick VG vapor)

Now, if that won't knock the hair off the back of my neck, what will?

Assuming you haven't already, go HV. You'll never look back. I use 36mg @ 6V. Better TH than an analog.

The easiest way to try it out and see if you like it is a passthru WITHOUT a battery in-line.

Or, cut out the VG completely..I find it reduces the TH even at high nic liquids. I like the vapor too and I'm finding that my A.C. with all PG doesn't really produce it, but the TH is great. I've just ordered some with 10% VG for the vapor, but if the TH's not as strong, I'll just stick with the all PG.

Just depends on which one is more important to you, I guess.

What's "HV"?

I'm using the 601 pipe. They say that flavors can be diminished by making their way through the pipe, so it stands to reason that TH can be diminished as well. I really like the pipe for the battery and cart life, but I could change. My thoughts are that I should just get used to the lessor TH because I'm planning on giving up the pipe sooner or later.

But at this early stage, I really need the VG thick vapor. I should be getting the new juice with the 20% VG next week. If it doesn't get me where I need to be, I'll re-order down to 10% VG. Can you still get good thick vapor with just 10%?

I dunno. I don't use any VG. It diminishes the throat hit.
I use all PG. I'd rather have TH than mounds of vapor.

HV is a high voltage mod.
There's a link that compares them all but some are way too pricey for this housewife that's why I suggested a passthru. The ones with batteries take it back down to 3.7 so you need one without an in-line battery.
Use a "wall wart" (USB that plugs into the wall rather than your computer USB port) for the most reliable voltage.

I get a pretty strong throat hit from Halo juices... and I only vape 6 or 12 mg out of an eGo... I imagine at 36+ that torque would blow your socks off out of 3.7 or higher.

I'm a poor girl. I go for the 500ml bottles for $134.00 straight from China.
No way can I pay almost a dollar a ml.

I got a bottle of menthol 24mg today from Strictly E Juice and it kicks the back of my throat pretty good. Better than the Halo does. It's a real clean cold hit that lets you know that you're definitely getting something. It also produces some pretty descent thick vapor.

I also picked up a small bag of their blue foam cart stuffings. So far, I've been vaping this stuff for about an hour, and I haven't had one thin hit. This blue foam wicks the juice pretty good.

I'll give this one a thumbs up.

I'm using the DES601 E-Pipe.

Want throat hit? Use a 6v PV.

You can also try adding a little PGA to your mix. Helps thin out the VG a bit and I believe it adds a bit of heat to my juice which i like.
