Just completed my VV mod - and have various atty's at various ohm ratings. Have searched for a chart that shows the sweet spot at various voltages and have not found one yet.

My question is : Would the universal sweet spot be between 6 and 8 watts no matter what atty is being used?

I am adjusting the voltage after measuring the resistance of the atty, so I can get 7.5 watts. It seems pretty good on the BE112 atty (have not tried a 510 yet).

Just wondering what wattage I should be trying to zero in on to get the best sweet spot...

Any suggestions from the veteran VV users would be appreciated...

retird good question but like juices it is personal preference. I like some juice/atty combos at 9+ watts and some cartos at around 6.5 watts. the 6 to 8 range looks like a great place to start but play around w/the VV and find out what really rocks the house for you. Keep a note pad around so you can jot down the combos if you are going to run many different atty's and cartos. Enjoy the VV it really is a whole different world than the fixed voltage stuff.

Thanks for the reply... I have been varying the voltage on this atty and at 6.5 watts it is too weak and at 8 watts it gives a slight burnt taste, so will just keep adjusting the wattage a little within those parameters to find the best fit.

Thats probably it as I only use 100% VG, as PG makes me cough and sore throat..thicker juice wicks slower...

I have found with my VV's, the liquid you use makes the biggest impact on the sweet spot. I have to tune it differently for different liquids.

If 8W is burning your juice, its prolly your juice, or a wicking issue. I can usually get 10W+ with the liquids I normally use. Some need to be turned down to 6-8ish to keep from burning.

Sputnik you a right on the money with the juice. I run 80/20 so I am betting you may be running a little thicker???? Anyway I also noticed flavors make a difference too. A robust flavor seems to take much more heat than say a more delicate fruit like strawberry or peach. But that is the beauty of VV being able to dial in for whatever combo you can imagine. I love it and soon will have 3 VV's in the arsenal. What an awesome freakin hobby and healthier too. Not too many vices you can say that about!

I use 80/20 mostly. YES, different flavors makes a difference as well. I dont agree totally with stronger flavors being better, sometimes it doesnt seem to matter much. I think its more of the type of flavor when it come to that. Most of the citrusy juices seem to burn easily no matter how strong the flavor is. I have the best luck with smooth, sweeter flavors.

retird, 100% VG is definitely your problem. You may try thinning it with some distilled water. It will cut the flavor and nic some, but at least you will be able to vape it. Its just not wicking well it sounds.

Have considered thinning but not willing to give up the flavor...Tried 80/20 VG/PG but any PG does not sit well with me. Since I use mainly tobacco (flue cured and USA) I searched for flavoring to add so I could thin the VG, but have not found the flavoring yet...
