Besides what people said (not sure what your PV is--mine is an 808d) I went to a party and found that having your PV in a shirt pocket was very useful for temptations. Nothing is more of a hassle then having it in a case in your pocket if you are tempted... Keep it in shirt pocket and take a big fast hit if you need to and back into the pocket.

The beauty of PVs is that you can take a hit when you want then tuck it away.

I'm in the process of weaning myself off analogs and so far I've been able to cut my consumption into at least half without a concerted effort.

Like others, after using PVs, I've found the smell of analogs undesirable to say the least.

As for general tips on quitting, I've found that you need to find alternative reasons to help you carry you through. For me its my love of food and cooking. The fewer cigarettes I smoke, the better I can taste my food. Sometimes its the little things that matter.

Well, I made it! Whole weekend in a smoke-filled bar and no cigarettes! Actually, much to my surprise, when I walked in i noticed for the first time in the six+ years that I've worked there just how BAD it smells with all the stale cig smoke. It was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be. The temptation and stress didn't phase me. In fact, I didn't feel like I needed a cig at all! Thank you all for your advice and support! I can't tell you how much it helped!

I am a dealer in a casino so I am constantly around smoke for ~8 hrs a day. That made it kinda hard for a little while. Make sure you always have charged batteries and plenty of liquid so you will not be needing nic. I just try to remember how bad cigs tasted when I had one after a month of vaping. After vaping I don't know how we smoked those things.

I almost made this mistake. I was away from home most of the day and forgot the cord for my PCC. It died RIGHT as I got to work. Luckily, there was a random USB cord that had the right end and correct voltage. It saved my "ash" (so to speak)!

higher nicotine juice of your favorite flavors! that's the only way i'm able to do it... I normally use 12mg, but I bust out the 18mg when I'll be drinking with my friends who ALL smoke (darn you asian community!)

oh and make sure you have enough batteries!

I've been using a mixture of 16mg, 18mg, and 24mg depending on what's going on. I'm pretty sure I'm going to order another battery or two next time I order juice/cartos.

Do not bring cigarettes or lighter.

Use strong flavor/aroma juices because alcohol can numb your taste/smell some

Have plenty of power - enough charged batteries, a PCC if necessary, enough to last the whole time there and way home even if you vape the whole time. Bring spare juice too. No excuses.

If you have auto batteries and the bar has loud music, take the atomizer or cartomizer off the battery when you are not dragging. Vibration from loud speakers can set off auto batteries.

Bring spare carts or cartos (or drip tip if you use a drip tip as a mouthpiece on cartos) so if a friend wants to try your ecig you could let them try.

Like Miss Mouse said..... If you don't have drip tips you can cut a slit in some carto condoms and slip those on for people to try.... You might be surprised how many peeps may want to try.... I was at a 4th of July bbq and a couple of pvs that I let peeps try I had pry away from them when it was time to leav

I was actually pleasantly surprised at the amount of my coworkers who already knew what it was and wanted me to let them know how well it's working. I told them how great it is and referred them to the ECF!
