I use a phoenix rebuildable clone, and although I like the vapor volume, the temperature is a bit too cool for me, and if I turn up the voltage the juice tastes bad. So what I came up with, even though incredibly crude, works very nicely. I tried to find a piece of stainless steel tubing to put inside the drip tip to get it closer to the coil, (a bit like the gp spheroid does when you adjust the temperature of the vape) but the metal tube was not wide enough to fit snuggly inside the drip tip so I used a rubber piece from an old clearomizer, trimmed it so it could fit well the inside of the drip tip and then adjusted the tube up or down so it would get as close as possible to the coil without touching it. This was made at 6am, no sleep, so keep that in mind.

I have the AGA, the AGA-T, and the Griffins. Of the three, I get the warmest vape from the Griffins. I think there are two reasons for this. First, the Griffins are smaller. The smaller top cap doesn't lose heat as quickly as the others. Also, and it just occurred to me: The Griffin top caps are chrome plated brass. The AGAs and AGA-Ts are stainless. Stainless is a much poorer conductor of heat than brass. The top caps of the Griffins actually will get almost hot when being vaped.
