Hey all, long time no see. I am back yet again with box mod issues. I have been vaping coming up on 2 years now and I have went through a 50 watt eleaf, 3, 30w Eleafs and an innokin coolfire!!!
I dont know what it is with these mods but they sooo do not like me as they never seem to last long and i am beginning to think they are battery related issues sooo..

anyway... on to my question. I am looking into the Kanger sub box mini since I can replace the battery, but I dont have to take the battery out to charge it all the time.

how many of you have had issues with this device? and how long has it lasted you and do you recommend it as a nice one to buy. Also, do you have problems with the magnetic cover? I will be using my serpent rta with it if I get it.

I bought two subox mini kits a year ago October and still use them everyday. Early this year I bought one of the stainless steel Platinum editions and use it as well although it is slightly heavier. I bought it because I dropped the painted ones at work a few times and chipped the paint. Of course I retired shortly after that. When dropped the battery door goes flying as does the battery. I did chip one of the drip tips as well. The blue one ended having the paint get crackled and flake off. I assume the surface wasn't clean enough when painted.

I love the tanks but mostly use the rba even though the coil heads are good. Mine are all bottom fill.

Most people recommend not charging in the mod for safety. My understanding is fine to use sometimes but not all the time. Others charge in the mod all the time. My suggestion is if you want to charge in the mod just pay close attention to it in case it has a problem. I just charge with a battery charger that way when battery dies just pop in a new one and Vape away.
