So I got my Triton a few days ago and was looking up prices on the Halo site for replacement coils, wow, so expensive. Did more research and found a few sites that offer Kanger T2 coils for 1/3 the price almost. Yet, seeing as the tank and cap do not really need to be replaced, with proper maintenance, then it leaves me with fixing the actual coil itself, thus saving me even more money. I did a search on youtube.com for rebuilding Triton tanks, but I only found one video (the guy said that it was not easy compared with other types of coils). The guy was helpful and it did show me how to do this process, but I have some questions.

1) Can anyone give me some tips on doing this from personal experience?
2) What materials will I have to invest in?
-Which kind of wire?
-What material should I use for the wick?
-what other materials will I need to do this?
3) What web sites do you guys use to get the materials?
3) Any videos that I can view to get more point of views?

Why don't you search the older threads here in the Halo section? Most every question you have has been discussed and answered...

Rebuilding coil and wicks on Triton - started by GermZx on 4/16
Halo re-wicking - started by sprague67 on 4/6

Triton Coil Complete Rebuild - by my good friend Joe13. (which I just bumped for you, cause Joe13 deserves it for all the work he put into that excellent thread)

Yea I coulda made links to these, but you, my friend, should spend a little time looking at the wealth of information that is already here in ecf before starting yet another new thread.

Due diligence is a wonderful thing.
