Hello and welcome!:)

I am not familiar with either of the batteries you mentioned.

The Innokin iTaste VTR is very good, from a well respected company. But be aware, it's heavy compared to many others. You would need to purchase batteries and a charger so it is more costly.

The Innokin iTaste MVP is also very similar to the VTR, but smaller and much lighter. It has an internal battery so that is a plus.

Both the MVP and VTR are variable voltage/wattage devises.

Don't know what the Turbo-ez or E-max is but if you think it will work for you to get you off cigs then it's the right one! As for your choice of eliquid I think a nice tobacco blend to start and no more than 18mg should do you fine but that will be up to you. You'll find that you'll want to cut that down in no time. Good luck and stay with it!

Hello,
If your looking to get started here's a tip. A few days ago I started vaping quit smoking cold turkey after 6 years but still needed something to puff on now a woman at my local e-cig vapor shop hooked me up with this vape pen I believe might be the best entry level device with the luxury features pro vapors would enjoy!

It's called the itaste vv v3.0 $49.00
It's has variable voltage and wattage, puff counter,a 16 hr battery, a digital screen, small slim fits in your pocket,it comes with its own USB charger, and works with many upper tanks coils wicks and tips!
I got my itaste vv v3.0 a few days ago with a aspire BDC tank vaping On yetivape Nana Gram Custard e-juice and let me tell you I love this thing it's amazing, look it up you can't go wrong

I've never heard of any of those. Do you have links?

My recommendation is the MVP 2.0 for a mod. 101vape.com has them for $40 which is a very good price and they will ship pretty quickly.

12-18 mg sounds about right. I smoked a little more than you and I started with 18 and dropped to 12 fairly quickly.

Look out for MBV as their straight menthol is pretty stong stuff. They have a bunch of mentholated fruit flavors like thug juice, hawk sauce, solar flare and the ice series (I like green ice) that are pretty good. Their tobacco flavors aren't very good though. You might have more luck with EC Blend. You can choose your tobacco flavor and add your desired level of menthol to it.

So, you've done your all of that research and ended up picking two devices that no one here has ever heard of, including myself. I took the time to google those two setups.

The TURBO EZ and E-Max are essentially a proprietary generic eGo battery/tank setup. Did you read the following:

"THE BATTERIES AND TURBO TANKS ARE UNIQUE AND EXCLUSIVE TO THE TURBO EZ AND NOT COMPATIBLE WITH OTHER PRODUCTS!"

Many vendors who target new vapers use a proprietary system designed to keep you as a steady customer because their products will not work with other manufactured products. Your stuck using their product whether it is a decent product or not. What happens if their customer service sucks? What happens if their products become "out of stock"? What happens if the entire line just sucks?

Oh, and don't be suckered in by all the glowing reviews found on the website. Most of those are probably made by the company.

What I'm trying to get across is in the e-cig market there are a lot of small companies taking advantage of new or potential vapers to make a quick buck. All of their money is focused on their advertisements, not so much into quality products. Anyone who has been vaping for a few months will tell you that if you start out with recognized name brand ecig manufacturers and well-known reputable vendors you'll be much better off and not waste your money on small-time vendor outlets. Chances are strong that Turbo-EZ and E-Max do not fit into one of the better categories.

For batteries, choose Joytech (Twists) and Vision (Spinner) batteries.

For clearomizer brands choose from Aspire CE5 or Vivi Nova, Innokin iClear, and Kanger Evod and T3D. These have replaceable coil heads ($3) which will prolong the life of the tank.

Proper Terminology: A Guide to Juice Attachments

The above ego variable voltage setup will get you off of cigarettes. Many people continue to use this setup and are perfectly happy with it and have no inclination to move up the vaping chain for a better vaping experience.

Many other vapers will move up the vaping ladder to either a regulated mod or mechanical mod which uses replaceable rechargeable external batteries. You need not go there initially unless you desire to. The main focus for you at this time is to stop smoking.

I looked at both your desired ecigs and would recommend going with the MVP2 or the iTaste 3v vv/vw. They will give you what you want and then some. If you have to decide on one at the moment then go for the MVP2. A charge on it will last you 2-3 days depending on how much you vape. It has a 2600mAh internal battery whereas what you are looking at only have 650 mAh or less. Get a micro cord, you may have one already if you have a cell phone, so you can use it as a pass-through. You can vape as you charge. It does come with a cool cord but it's too short to use while charging. I'd recommend the same thing if you go with the iTaste 3v because I hate the recoiling cord that comes with it. It wanted to recoil when I wanted to take a vape so I was always tugging and pulling against it. There will be other batteries offered that are better than the one's you're looking at. Take a look at all of them and see which one fit's you best. If you're looking for long battery life you'll want higher mAh's. Good luck and let us know how you're coming along!

You could go for an EVOD kit as well. It's pretty versatile and the kit comes with 2 batteries, 2 tanks, a charger and 5 replacement coils for when the ones in the tanks wear out. If you have a local vape shop near by they might have testers available, so you can find a flavor you like right off. Good luck!

What is your vaping goals and agenda??? Wanting to get into vape and continue, or just to quit smoking then eventually stop vaping??

If looking to vape for years to come, think the best bang for the buck is the ChinaBox30. also called the hana clone. That can take someone from a standard clearo to full blown rba vaping at max 30 watts. Never have to upgrade your mod till you can consistently vape above 30 watts. Use a 30 amp Sony VTC5, and she will last most the day at max output. Has usb charger so don't need a charger, but one can swap out the batts fairly easily.

I've said this before, mostly because he's the man with the knowledge.... But I'm going with Baditude's suggestions of the Twist and Spinner.

myvaporstore has a kit I've sent the link to several close friends who wanted to start vaping. It comes with your choice of two batteries, both the Twist and Spinner are options, as well as two tanks (I want to say the options are mostly iClears and smaller Kangers) and a charger all for about $70. Let me know if you'd be interested in this kit and I'll get a link for you.

Yep, another backing Baditude's recommendations!

Probably 90% of us started with the type of equipment he is recommending and we are still here. Many of us have moved up the chain to bigger units but I still have and use the equipment I started with; granted it is my backup equipment but still use it! Most of the stuff he is recommending will cost you less than a carton of cigs.

Good luck and enjoy!
