I've had a Blu e-cig for a while. I started using it when I bought it and then stopped for a while. But now I'm back into it and I love it.

Basically what I'm here for is to find out what's the best. I really, REALLY enjoy large vapor production and a nice throat hit, but I really have no idea what I'm doing, so I figured the best place to find out would be a forum like this. Should I buy a different e-cig? Should I start dripping? etc. etc.

Short version: I'm new to e-cigs, and I'd like to see more vapor than with my Blu cig.

My suggestion to you is to get a 510 kit with a pcc or if you are really liking the e-cig experience, if you don't care if it looks like an analog cigarette, and want something with a little more battery life get an eGo. I know I was in the same situation as you I have a blu and liked the experience but wanted more vapor and throat hit. I stepped up to the 510 kit with a pcc and later got an eGo. Try cignot they have very affordable kits super fast shipping and great customer service. Also if you have left over carts from your blu set up you can still use them with a 510 kit. The vapor production with using that battery goes up quite a bit. Happy vaping man

If you are wanting to start with something new I would suggest skipping standard e-cigs and going straight to mods. They use the standard atomizers but have bigger batteries. They cost a little bit more but if you are serious about switching to e-cigs you will probably end up with some kind of mod down the road. The standard batteries on all e-cigs just doesn't cut if for most people. Your looking at a difference of 1-2 hours on standard to 8-12 hours on mod batteries. See why mods are better.

Look at some of the supplier sub-forums on here and see what you like. Alot of people are going to recommend alot of different things. Because you have a Blu e-cig you are probably wanting something a little smaller to start with. My recommendations for a smaller unit would be an Ego/Tornado/Riva (alot of places sell them) or the BB from Altsmoke.

You don't necessarily have to switch to dripping but I would defiantly recommend buying e-liquid and refilling your carts or cartomizers (if you choose cartomizers) or dripping.

I'm fairly new and started out with a Blu also. Using the cartridges left me feeling nicotine starved, so I began dripping liquid on the atomizer instead and that helped hold me over until I could get something better. I've got the 901, 510 and kr808-d1. I like the kr808 the best because it uses a cartomizer with the built in atomizer. I really didn't like messing with the atomizers and tiny cartridges for 901 and 510. The cartomizers are easy to refill, hold more and last longer. If you are using multiple juices, they don't get muddled up together on the atomizer. You can also get a nice PCC to go with it.

Congrats and good luck!

@unknownsoldier: Thanks for the info, I'll look into that.

@ndfourleafclover: That sounds pretty interesting, I'll look into mods but I think for now I'm just gonna try some standard things so I can get the hang of what I want and what I'm doing lol.

@heybarb: I kind of see what you mean about Blu. I feel like I need to be vaping all the time. I love vaping, don't get me wrong, but I don't think I should be doing it all day!

I had actually sent out an email to vapor4life yesterday about their Wow- products and I'm pretty sure he told me that they were the kr808 models...I'll have to check the email again, but I was impressed with the vapor production on that one.

Don't know if you knew it or not, but they have cartomizers for 510's now. litecigusa.net has them 5 for 6.95 blank and 5 filled for 9.95

Well as you can see everyone has their choice. I have 6 or 7 mods but the one that is the best of all is the Buzz from notcig. I has an adjustable voltage feature that lets youi set the voltage level to the sweet spot on whatever carto or atty you choose also it helps with finding the spot you like for different juices. I haven't used any of my others since I got the Buzz. That said I would also recommend you read this and find one just for you: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ping-illustrated-guide-e-cigs-part-1-6-a.html

Neither here nor there
There are several reasons I have so many. I can't speak for anyone else, but here goes...
1-OCD
2-Stockpiling in case of Vapeageddon or mass device suicide
3-Wanting to try the latest most talked about device
4-Waiting for the "magic vaping bullet" that will make me forget all the other models
5-I collect several things, PVs being just one
6-Get tired of the same device all the time. Sometimes I want big TH, sometimes I want more flavor, and have a device for different vaping moods.

I started with a super mini 10-something. Nothing to extravagant, but good enough to keep me off the analogs. After saving up some $$$ by not buying smokes, I got a pen style Ncig. What a difference, huge plumes :vapor: The atomizer only lasted about 6 weeks, and my replacement only 2 days. Wasn't too impressed with that. After reading some other posts, found some were having better luck with the BE112 atomizers, essentialy the same thing and works with the Ncig batterys and carts, also got them for $8.99 per and free shipping. The BE112 seem to also have better smoke yet and runs alot cooler and gives a smoother flavor.

I'm not familiar with the 510's, seem alot of people are happy with them, but it seems most people whove been vaping for a while have trusty clasic pen style in there arsenal of pv.

I also just got my 905 Nomad today, (screwdriver type) which uses a 901 atty but with the huge 900 mah battery. It puts out a fair amount of smoke, but the cart is substatially smaller and the smoke is a bit hotter like a real ciggy. Not bad if thats what one wants. I'll give it a try for a few, but will probably end up getting an adapter to use my BE112's.

So, iv'e now owned 3 styles, one of wich, (my beloved pen), two different brand attys, tried pg and vg, different flavors, dripping, not dripping, different cart waddings, it's all different. I can't say wich is the best for anybody, It's a matter of personal prefference. But I can say though, It's all better than smoking!!!

I purchased an eGo about 2 weeks after I started vaping. I started with an envy and it was a junker. But it was good enough to keep me off of cigs. Then my one and only atomizer died, right before bed one night. I woke up the next morning and my eGo was in the mail. I got lucky.

I gotta say, I LOVE this thing. The battery lasts all day, it produces great vapor (I drip with a drip tip), and it's compatible with 510 parts which is nice cause you can get attys almost anywhere.

I've been analog free for 24 days now and I started with the 808. Love it!
Got the kit from vapor express and ordered some RY4 from them too. Not bad. My daughter has an ego that you can't pry from her fingers sooo I decided I wanted one too. She did some research and said the Reva has a lot more battery umph and the cost was less too. I now have my Reva and I dare you to try to pry it from me. I still use my 808 and probably always will but, I think I can be happy with just these two.
