Looking to get another mod, Even thinking about Authentic - Ooooooooo

So I've had my Nemesis Clone from hcigar for a little while now, I can honestly say that I love the mechanical world more than I did my SVD. I also Love my KFL+ and found that I haven't used my old Clearos at all since getting the KFL+. With that being said, Im in the market to get another Mechanical/RTA style like another kayfun. Probably the 3.1 or another tank style rebuildable.

What do you have/like and why? I have been considering getting Authentic this time, Preferably Copper Mech/Contacts. I want all the conductivity I can get and I know silver contacts are better so if anyone knows of any copper style mod that has silver contacts, Please let me know! I honestly Just want to get a copper mod ( If I haven't said that enough ) like the Ember, Penny mod, Minotaur or something along those lines.

If there's anything else around that I should know about I'd be very grateful for your input!

Been looking for a Vanilla around couldn't find one Lol. Been Looking on VapeHappy and kinda wanted to get the Biomech or the GMS by V creations, even though they aren't copper they are nice mechs

Got to play with a chi you yesterday. I liked it, felt really solid and well made. The threading looks strong and is smooth on everything. the switch had a short light throw on it which was nice but it would fire if you set it down and didnt lock it (think its adjustable though). Seemed to hit great but not much better then my brother nemesis clone which I think hits hard. Same kid use to have a king by surefire which I guess is pretty much the same mod, felt similar, hit the same, good threading, same short throw.

Havnt tried many other authentic mods but these two are nice if you are looking to spend over $200

Vanilla mods are tough to find. I think one of the local shops by my college still has a copper one in stock but it is definitely worth the money! I would try to give them a ring if you really want to find one just find their number on aqueousvapor.com hopefully they still have one.

I like M5 hot pins for conductivity and strength. M4 isn't bad but I don't like smaller. My chemi has M5. My chivela has M4. My Chiorigin has tiny pin threads.

Well, I like owning originals. Just my preference.

If you can find one of the Stingrays, either the Phantom Brass or the Black Copper, you would be smart to buy either of them. I have both of them in front of me right here, I just love them. Ive had the Phantom Brass one for a while, and just recently got my Black Copper(finally). As far as conductivity, these things hit hard. The Black Copper is supposed to be even better, but I can't tell the difference between them. But they are consistently hard hitting, and the contacts don't need constant maintainence like copper contacts do. Either one of these mods would be a great choice.

The mods yoiu mentioned, the Biomech and the GMS.. both of those are great mods. Well built, hard hitting.


As far as another tank RBA goes.. check out the Squape and the Taifun GT. Both are different enough from the Kayfun design that you aren't just buying "another" kayfun. FYI, niether of them will flush mount on a 22mm mod. The squape is a hair bigger than 22mm, and the Taifun GT is a 23mm. Would go nicely on a Chi You, King, or one of my most adored mods, the Templar, if you can find one.


I personally like RDAs. And there is many too choose from. The Origen is very popular.. I like mine.. bit of a pain to build, but a great tasting RDA otherwise.. I use it daily despite being a pain to build. The Cartel mods Stillaire dripper is a favorite of mine. Easy as pie to build, great flavor, and adjustable airflow with huge air slits on wide open. The Omega is another one I like. And the Patriot is an easy choice, simple in design, easy to build, looks great on basically anything 22mm..

For me, RDAs is where its at for mechs. Dual coil .35ohm with 3mm silica and a quality juice, and Im a happy camper.
