Right now I'm looking at the AGA-T2, smok RSST, and the IGO-L. I've read the IGO-L is very easy to set up, but I don't know if I want to go without a tank. And then for the tank RBAs I've read the AGA and the RSST are both a good place to start, but I've heard people are having issues with the screws not staying tight on the AGA. Any advice on a good place to start? I have ZERO experience rolling wicks/coils at this point, but I have been doing my research. I'm thinking if I do go with the AGA/RSST I will go with a ceramic wick so I don't have to deal with oxidizing and rolling SS.

Also Protanks fit perfectly on them. It almost seems like they were designed for the Provari. But if your thinking about an IGO-L and and AGA-T I would definitely say get the AGI. You can change it from dripper mode to tank mode. In dripper mode, it is identical to the AGA-T, but it's a little bit better to build on because of the different positive connection. You could probably still find them on sale. I just got mine for $28.

I've been using my AGI a lot. I haven't used it in tank mode yet but I assume it functions like the AGA-T. It is extremely similar to the AGA-T but I think it looks much sleeker. I't doesn't sit flush but still looks good. I'd assume it would look better on some other devices.

I like the AGI alot too. Right now I have it setup in dripper mode but with the bottom tank attached and the set screws removed. When I need liquid I just flip it. Also to fix the voltage drop issue in genny mode. I took apart speaker wire. Pulled out a 10mm strand and stuck it in between the spring. Now when it makes contact no voltage drop.

For starting out i'd also reccomend the IGO-L and the Octopus RDA. Both are cheap and easy to build.

Ceramic wicks come with their own set of headaches as well. Versus SS wicks I'd say it's 6 of one, half a dozen of the other, IMO.

Whatever you do, don't waste your cash on a ZAP...I've got one, and my RSST outperforms it in every way. :glare:

I love my Igo-L too - best vapor and flavor of any RBA I've tried so far, but not real pocket friendly.

For a RDA, I highly suggest the IGO-L. For a RBA, I strongly suggest a Smok RSST. The 2 said will give you a very good vaping experience. Also, you will save yourself quite a bit of money, taking this route, if you are just starting out. Beyond that, it's all about bling and disposable income.

Is reccommend SSmesh or silica or some other wick type other than ceramic. I am a strong believer that there is a very good chance it is unsafe to use.

whats this inside information you have on the safety of ceramic wicks? this is not the first post you have made stating that ceramic wicks are not as safe compared to ss mesh, please tell me exactly why this is so.
