Yeah, I think I should stay away from that then!
Need something that she can toss in her bag.. that's another reason I'm a bit worried about the glass on the protank mini... but it is Pyrex!

I like the look of Todd's setup he's using with the protank mini - Kanger Mini Protank Kit - YouTube - that size battery and protank mini might not be too bad, I could convince her to use it I think. She also would't have to carry juice around when we go out!

They do make them using Pyrex!

The Griffin atomizer (mini DID clone). Its just ever so slightly bigger in diameter than an Ego battery.
The Griffin - Rebuildable Atomizer Tank

Another option is the Phoenix atomizer. It is the same size in diameter as an Ego battery, but it has no clear tank.

I have both of these atomizers one on a 650mah Ego Twist that I will post pictures of once I get off work later this evening...
Oh awesome, I'd love to see pics, thanks!

what type of thread cone are you using in the first pic? is it just a regular cone threaded on upside-down (if that even works)? it looks nice. i never thought to put my DuD on an ego, but now i think i want to.

I had the same problem with my wife she only wanted to use carts that I was always refilling for her.
I finally got her to try these she said wow it taste much better then I got her to try a old vision ce4 I had now she does not mind that size.
I am going to move her to kanger evods next I'll get her a cute color and call it a day. But the little t4's work really good and I clean and dry burn them for her to keep them going.

Nice! Yeah I was looking at the kanger evods setup, too... can you rebuild those? And yes, I could just get a purple evod and I'd be golden! I just don't want to keep buying things, I weld and make my own coils right now so ideally I would like to do the same for hers.

Yes you can rebuild them not very difficult and the replacement coils are really cheap and easy to clean and reuse. They vape really well for what they are.
Good luck.

Yeah - I'd like to get the starter kit so I can get the charger and everything though... unless I can use my old ego or kgo charger? I know the ego and kgo chargers werent interchangeable
Plus I think buying 2 batteries and an EVOD or two would probably come out to about the same or more as that starter kit I'm looking at at healthcabin.net - I will probably end up getting it there..
I can;t believe the wide range of prices this kit is listed as! I've seen almost $70 and as low as $34.... crazy!

She's not too concerned about VV.. I told her about ego twists before and she said she just wanted the regular 650 mAh batteries again.. I try to tell her it's better but I think she just wants to keep it simple. At least with my making her coils I can force her to have a better vape because I will make some good coils for her  (I will experiment with some microcoils, those should work good with the 650 mAh I believe)

Thanks Exile.. I do like the look of that Phoenix v3.. does it leak if it's sat on it's side (say overnight, in a bag, etc)?

It depends... If just the wick itself is saturated it wont leak out the air flow hole. But if the "tank" is full it will leak a little out of the air flow hole if sat on its side...
