Haven't been able to finish the thread yet, but wanted to mention before I forget. They are coming out with a protank 2 and mini portank 2. With this version you can disassemble the pieces.

I have the first version protank, used it for when I went canoing/camping. Works well, it is a cooler vape but the coil can be rebuilt pretty easily. Also, with the old version it uses a glue to hold the metal to the glass tube.

I might actually pick up the updated version sometime after I see some reviews to replace the first one.

Ah yeah that might be a game changer actually.. I want the easiest, no hassle vaping.. I think she'd be annoyed with having to keep her ecig upright at all times.. I'm looking at this mini protank and it's looking nicer and nicer.. hopefully the glass is sturdy, though!
