So the IGO-L has served me well, but my hands are rather large and the IGO-L is rather small, so I'm looking for a new RDA. I have a few requirements, which will hopefully help weed out those suggestions in advance :).

1). A Drip Well is a must. The IGO-L has one, my next one has to have one as well.

2). Airflow needs to come from the sides, not the well. I own the Octopus and despise it. I don't want to risk liquid running into the air chamber and onto the mod.

3). I only run single coil builds, but the option to run dual would be nice, if and only if the option to close up the second airflow hole is there. I'm not a cloud-chaser and don't need huge blasts of air. The default air hole on the IGO-L has been perfect for me. If they both have to stay open, I'd prefer an RDA for single coil builds.

4). Not looking to spend an insane amount (i.e. $200+), but I'm not expecting my next one to be priced at $10 either.

5). I am looking for an actual RDA, not a tank. I use this for testing flavors and vaping at home. I like dripping and for all else, there's the kayfun :).

So with those few specifics, what are your suggestions? If possible, I'd like this based off personal experience. Clones are okay, if that is what your experience is on. And if possible, a link to where you bought yours.

Hoping to get 5-6 suggestions so I can get it ordered this weekend/

Thanks in advance!

I'm not overly picky. It'll be used on a Nemesis, but it doesn't have to be flush on the sides. The IGO-L, to me, is small. I have a hard time keeping the coils wrapped given the size of my hands, so if there was an RDA with the spring-loaded posts which just let me stick the wire through or even one that allowed me to screw down in a similar fashion so I don't have to wrap at all, that'd be excellent.

What diameter do you want it to be?

I don't know of any RDAs that have spring-loaded posts. There are several that have holes through the posts which should make attaching coils easier for you. The problem is, most of these with the post holes and the same size or larger than the IGO-L are dual coil. Also the IGO-L is about as big as they come in terms of room to work with. I have definitely heard plenty of complaints that wrapping the coil legs around the screws is not very easy for a lot of folks. Ideally, you could just drill your own post holes if you have access to the right tools. Another option is to get an IGO-W, only mount one coil and use your IGO-L cap on it. I have both of these and just checked, the L cap fits on the W. I'd recommend a Trident clone, but they have issues with the positive post getting pushed up on bottom-firing mechs.

Not sure if you've been to PennyVaper.com , but its a good resource for looking at a lot of different devices and finding good prices on them.

Good luck!

I have a Trident clone from FT and love it on their Nemesis clone. The positive post in the 510 connection of the Trident is a screw and I have it screwed down tight. The Nemesis has an adjustable screw as its 510 positive post which I screw in to contact the Trident. Works very well and there is no risk the positive wire post will move up in the Trident.

The Trident's posts are split, giving you a slot to put the coil wires into. I find this it works very well, much easier than my IGO-L was. It also has three different sized single air holes and one set of two holes, though those are about 1.8mm I think.

Here are the two together:

Good luck with whatever you chose.

Trident is a hot seller, got one on the way from FT.

I'm sure you'll like it Heavyrocker! I've got two micro coils in mine at 0.6 ohms combined and it's a very aggressive vape with the new VTC4 Sony battery. Raise the resistance a bit and it tones down nicely.

Good luck with it :thumb:

So far the Trident looks like a viable option since I have the ability to build single & dual. I'm not a huge fan of having to use a flat head screwdriver, but it could be a lot worse.

The Origen and Omega look nice, but they're a little more than I'm looking to spend just for testing juices and having an around the house vape. It's not to say they're not nice, they are, just a tad bit more than I want to spend right now. I have however, bookmarked them for my next big spend, so they're not completely out.

Any other similar to the Trident that use screw down posts over slots? That's really the only thing I don't care much for. I think the drilled out holes in the center of the posts simple appear to work better.

I like the coil terminals on the Trident and IGO-W. The trident slot posts made single strand quad coil build easy. Single strand dual coil was easy on IGO-W. Screw head terminals are not a deal breaker for me; I get along w/ the sexy 22 mm AGI single coil.
I love Trident but have two minor complaints. The o-rings are too tight; solvable w/ smaller o-rings and/or dual o-ring delete. I don't get along w/ adjustable airflow. I prefer to drill to suit and forget about it.
My Trident build is several weeks old and still works great. My IGO-W and AGI builds are a few weeks old and still work great as well.

The patriot isn't adjustable, and has two fairly big air holes for my taste.

Stay away from the omega as this has low air holes below the coils and may leak.

The trident and the atomic are great choices if you want to use single and dual coils. They both can have either one or two holes open, with adjustable airflow for each. If you get the trident, be sure to get V2.
