Hello,
First and foremost - overwhelming! AHHH!
I've been smoking for about 6 years now, and have developed an endearing mental addiction to the act. 5 months ago I 'quit' for about 1 month. I went from 2 packs/day to about 1 analog a day, supplementing with snus, until I lost my father.
In any event, using dip and snus helped with the nicotine, but I just couldn't completely get past that oral fixation of smoking, or the entertainment of the smoke. I'd smoke with dip in my mouth at some points!
I had not even heard of these at the time, or I may have tried it then.
It looks though like e-cigs might translate well to my smoking habits. I slowly mouth-draw my analogs, 3-4 seconds, and then quickly inhale that to 'power pack' my lungs and feel it in my throat. I generally don't hold my analog in my mouth, so the weight of the e-cig shouldn't be a problem. I think I'd like to go with a manual batt, even though the automatic seems like it would be more analoguous to an analog. It might behove me to select a model that has both options.
My analog of choice is a Camel Light. I used to smoke regulars, but switched to lights solely so I could smoke more so yes, I have th oral fixation!
It only makes sense, doing some quick math I estimate I've taken about 985,500 drags in my illustrious smoking career.
So I believe the right choice for me would be one of the shorter e-cigs made to resemble an analog, so I can play with it in my hand (If I can't smoke I'll hold one in my hand just to help
) and I don't think a pen-style or any of the bohemiths will help with this. Videos show people holding these in a most unnatural way by the 'burning' end which I don't think would jive with the mental addiction.
I have an approximate 3-4 analog commute in the morning and the afternoon (in 'people time' thats 1 hour, lol). So I'd like something that could supply 3-4 analogs in a cart and on one charge to get me through the commute. I'm in school now with a 10 minute break every hour, so at that point I'll probably drip to try and 'keep track' of how many I vape, if that makes sense. I would think between 2 batteries and a PCC I'd be able to make it through the day without having to use a wall outlet?
So I think what I am looking for is;
1: An e-cig that looks like/feels like an analog
2: An e-cig that uses carts, but can be dripped/dipped
3: An e-cig that has a low-cost of use (even if the initial invenstment is higher)
4: An e-cig 'kit' that can get me through the day with maintenance once per day.
5: An e-cig that has options to 'change it' in case I have no idea what I want - which seems to be analogous to everyone who starts this.
Sorry for the long post, thanks in advance for any help you care to advance!
