Looking to try out DIY liquid.

Hello! I'm new here. I've been vaping for over a year now, been smoking for 4 years and haven't had a single cigarette ever since I purchased my first e-cig. Are there any people experienced in DIY liquids? Is it cost-effective? What proportions of base / flavour do you use to achieve the best mix? What tools do you use? Thanks a lot

Yeah I wonder what the cost/benefits are to DIY liquids as well. I'd imagine they're quite a bit.

to both of you ... once you know how to mix your fav's the cost is pennies per ml's.
and the fun is experimenting with new flavors. its a bit of upfront cost but the end results are cheaper as time goes by.

one of the most used labs for nic base is wizard labs
flavors from wizlabs come from the flavor apprentice and lorainns oils to name a few.

I'm very new to DIY but see the value in doing it. You can buy the nic and PG/VG and it goes a long, long way.

This seems like a good mix. I like to have a decent throat hit while keeping the cloud nice and thick. And thanks for a reply!

one of my faves comes out to about $1.60 give or take per 30 ml bottle now.

it can be tricky but when you get it it's well worth the learning.

I did it for awhile. Kind of a pain and pretty time consuming. You can get most of the stuff on line or at the drug store for measuring. Got flavoring from capella's, PG, VG & nicotine from electronic-ash and a variety of things from DIY Flavorshake. Flavoring usually went in around 20% if I remember right, but that's always subjective anyway. If I remember right it was at least 1/2 the cost of what I buy juice now for. I just never found a good tobacco flavor I could make myself. French toast was pretty good though and the flavorings I never used much make some great cakes.
