Hi all, been at this since October. I currently have 2 iTaste VV 3s. I'm finding after many months of constant use the batteries/device power diminishes (even though I maintain them and keep them clean). Anyhow, I think I'm ready to upgrade to a new device, hopefully with a bit more power to it. I still consider myself a newbie, so it can't be too complicated. I use Pyrex Aro tanks and just buy replacement heads and would like to stick with those. I've glanced a few times at the MVP's as they seem to be popular but I'm not sure if they'd be an upgrade.

Any suggestions? :)

Depending on your budget, the sigelei 20w could be an upgrade worth looking at. It's a one button variable wattage tube mod that accepts 18650 batteries (with other tube sizes available) and fires up to 20 watts. The sx200 chip it utilizes kind of took me by surprise when I first got mine, and it's a simple system to use. If you're interested I suggest watching pbusardo's video on the device.

Now THAT was what I was looking for. I love my VV 3, but it just doesn't have the higher power and can't subohm at all. Not to mention the fixed battery. I wanted a higher wattage with replaceable batteries. The MVP2 is basically the bigger brother of the VV3, with the same limitations.

Thanks!

When you say "power", I'm just wondering why 11 watts would be insufficient. Might be those dual coils in the Aero tanks that are giving you this impression. So... don't know if you are wanting more power going to your topper (above 11 watts) or if you desire more battery longevity. The iTaste vv is rated at 800mah and there are certainly longer lasting batteries out there.

Without more details you're going to get suggestions all over the spectrum. :)

I still like my 2 iTaste vv's and MVP. Yes, they're disposable but priced that way as well. Plus the VV's are "pocketable" and go damn near anywhere. Nothing like stealth vaping just about anywhere using a regulated device. Then again, I don't need much power to satisfy my urges. :)

Oooh, that eVic supreme looks like a really cool toy. It may be my Fall present to me. I get a goodie every semester. Yeah, I like my toys. You don't want to know how many computers i have floating around.

Mostly because it looks like a cool toy. But I want to be doing this for a few months first. Let the shiny wear off. If I'm going to be doing this for years, then yeah, I'll get one.

So sorry, got busy! "Power" I guess means battery to me. As I said, after 8 months of constant use, both my iTaste VVs seem to need to be charged more and more frequently. As for watts, I definitely wouldn't want it to be less, I think the iTastes are perfect (at full battery charge).

I'm not looking to spend more than $100 but if I absolutely have to (if something spectacular catches my eye) I will. :)
Thanks for the suggestions, I'm going to check them out now!

Oh and style/shape isn't as much of a concern.

Yeah I was just watching the review on the Provari. It looks awesome but may be too advanced for me. I don't know anything about mods and buying my own batteries and I know the Aro wouldn't work without an attachment (not sure if these are all simple things I could learn quick?). I wonder if I should just stick to something that's all built for me ;)

My only argument with the iTastes and the MVP is I really have a problem with non replaceable batterys. Particularly with the FDA hanging over us and it being unclear how much of our gear is going to be heavily regulated (I suspect most if not all of it will be).

Otherwise from everything I have read they are terrific devices.

I wholeheartedly disagree that the FDA will have the audacity to regulate vaping batteries under the Tobacco Control Act (and not be challenged), but that's another topic. :)

Thanks for all the advice. I think I'm going to go with the MVP 2.
My friend, you will not be disappointed. Going from 800mah to 2600mah is like day and night. I get about 1200 "clicks" from mine vs. about 400 from the iTaste vv's. Sunup to Sundown battery. Quick and intuitive menu system, fast on/off and it can handle any 510/Ego topper. I also use mine to charge my vv's every now and then. A good value for $40.
