Hey guys. Hope your having a Good Friday!

It's payday, which means it's time for the long wait for the vape mail I am about to order.

I want to purchase a new battery today. Even a mod, I don't really care. I'm looking to spend less than $100, and would prefer something closer to $60. I like the shape of the spinner so I am not sure if I want a box mod, although I would definitely consider it if there are some strong selling points.

I recently purchased a Kanger Aerotank and just started using it yesterday. I then realized that I need a much more powerful and larger battery. This Aerotank is just way too top heavy on a spinner. It does look nice though.

Any by suggestions would be great. Also, I would appreciate a detailed explanation of why you are recommending it.

I will purchase whochever battery gets the most recommendations on this thread by about 12pm EST or maybe a little later depending on how hard this decision becomes since I know there are a lot of choices :)

ooooooooooooooh a contest! First, you may find that higher voltage than you expected you could with the Aerotank will work better. The dual coils may work better at higher voltages. As an example, I have a dual coil dripper that is 1.8 ohms but I vape it at 11 watts. Start low and move up.

For the battery, I bought a wider diameter battery because I thought the Protank/Aerotank looked like a lolli-pop on the eGo style batteries.

The iTaste vv/vw 3.0 is a good upgrade and only a small step up but I personally thought that my Spinner hit better and 800 mah isn't that much battery life. This still looks like a lolli-pop

The MVP gets lots of praise here and can be had for $50-70. It is a box but they say it lasts a day or two before needing to be recharged. To me, I cannot do a box mod...........I just hate the way they look.

If you shop Fasttech, you can get the iTaste SVD or the iTaste 134 (just over a hunge).

I'd stay regulated unless you specifically want a mech mod but do some battery safety and usage reading.

Buy a Provari. It is over your budget but way worth it.

Best bang for your buck would be the iTaste MVP. VV/VW, 2 - 3 days on a charge, can use it while charging. Built-in ohm reader. You can charge your cell phone from it. Built-in rechargeable battery means you don't have to buy separate replaceable batteries and a box charger. Comes with 1 or 2 iClear clearomizers and the USB charging cord.

Don't be put off by its shape or size. If you can carry a smart phone, you can carry an MVP.

The Aero looks nice sitting on my VTR (box) but because of the weight I only use it at home.

I also have the MVP 2 (box) that I take everywhere with me. Lasts 2 1/2 - 3 days on a charge and fits nice in the hand. I've seen them under $40.

If you go with a mech mod keep in mind you will need to purchase batteries, ohm meter and a charger.

Thanks for the reply!

I took a look at the iTaste vv/vw 3.0 and it is just not my style. Definitely want something a bit larger and more unique.

I have been considering purchasing the iTaste MVP 2.0 from MT Baker Vapor. I am just wondering if everyone here is going to recommend the same. It seems like everyone LOVES their little box mods. It does seem so awesome to have a huge battery life and can also charge my phone off of it! Bad-...!!!

Thanks!!

This is my top choice at the moment. It also seems like everyone is also recommending it. I think I may have made my decision already :)

I am still hoping that someone will bring up something that I haven't heard of yet. Maybe widen my options. That is the only way I won't have buyers remorse...Knowing that I got the best damn mod on the first try :vapor:

Thanks for the recommendation. I am definitely not considering a mech. I have no interest in that at all yet. I am actually still smoking cigarettes but have cut down at least 50% since I started really getting into vaping within the past week. I am just trying to get a really nice set-up and ease my way into it, so hopefully I won't feel that I am forcing anything upon myself.

Try 101vape. I love MBV for their juice but they are high on their mods.

The charge feature is cool but to be honest I have yet to use it.

I probably won't use it either. I am thinking that it would be cool to charge my spinner on that battery on the road when I want to use something a bit smaller.

There are definitely a lot of options with this thing.

I think you are looking for more of smoother "hit" and longer battery life, you're settings are going to be pretty much the same between your Spinner(5 volts max?) and let's say MVP 2.0 (tops out at 11 watts or 5 volts)....the MVP 2.0 will give your more fluid power..so you're vaping experience will be better...the MVP 2.0 doesn't use "pulsating power", it decent constant line of power...I'm sure it's no Provari or Mech Mod ...but you will be more than happy

The battery life is is excellent, I remember it would last me 2-3 days...before I would charge it. Of course be realistic, this thing won't last forever..if you google pictures of it, there are many variations of it ....you should not pay more than 50.00 shipped...online..B&M, 60?

GL, I don't think you will regret it.

I'm waiting for one, too. My purchase excuse is that my husband will be working out of town for a few weeks and won't be able to keep track of charging a VV and an eGo, so I wanted to get him something that would last a couple days at a time. And of course, I'll get to try it out too. :)

I think you made a good choice; you'll have to come back here and let us know your thoughts!

I will definitely let you guys know my thoughts when I get it. I might even submit a review in the correct section of the forum.
