Hi, I'm a relative novice vaper. I've got my green smoke starter kit a year and a half ago. Later I purchased another so I have 4 batteries. About 8 months or so ago I discovered buying blank cartomizers from China and just filling them with Ms. T's juices. I use low nic levels- 8-6mg and I want to soon switch to 0mg. My question to everyone out there is what battery or mod would do well at zero nic. giving me lot's of vapor and some throat hit? I've noticed a lot of people are using the GLV2. Would one of these be a good next level from the E9s I've been using? What would the differences be? What could I expect?

Thanks in advance!

When considering the purchase of a mod the best thing you can do is make a list of features you want, then look for something that meets your specifications. If you post your requirements here in the forum people will give you lots of recommendations. Any PV that can vape nic juice will also do ok with zero nic. The problem you might run into though is lack of throat hit. At least some TH comes from the nicotine. An HV device might help in that department.

What I'm looking for is:

Longer battery life
Decent throat hit on 0/low nic juices
Holds a lot of juice, so I don't have to refill constantly.

I've been using cartomizers up to this point. I'm a little foggy on how re-fill etc. Works on these mods. Perhaps I'll check You tube and see what looks relatively hassle free.

Thanks!

Stepping up the voltage or getting lower ohm atty/cartos will increase the heat and help give more TH. There are TONS of options out there. I don't own a GLV2 but would love to support a Michigan operation. I'm not very knowledgable of the E9 stuff so I can't help there. I will say, though, I have been loving my Provari. Variable Voltage really gives you much more control over your vape. Using a more delicate, sweet flavor? Dial down the voltage. Just woke up? need a kick in your vape? crank up that voltage. Atty getting older and not performing? Dial up the voltage and get some more milage out of it. It really opened up a new world of vaping to me. (I went from an eGo to the Provari). Good luck and Sup from the 'D' ! (I live in the suburbs).

Real throat hit - like you get with cigarettes is dependent upon nicotine content and heat to produce enough vapor to get enough surface to impinge on the throat. So you are going to have to simulate that by choosing some flavors that tend to irritate the throat - cinnamon, pepper, menthol, strong mint, cherry will do it sometimes.

For all the other stuff - I'd highly suggest the eGo or Riva with either the mega attys or the newer tank system. Mega attys hold 2.5ml and the tanks hold 1.5ml of ejuice.
