I've been vaping on and off for a little over two months now. I started out with an Ego-T type a starter kit. For the first few days it vaped wonderfully until the one atomizer that worked well got gunked up and no longer vaped worth a you know what. It came w/ two attys but one never worked right out of the box. I then ordered one LR type B ego-t atty and one SR type b ego-t atty along with five type b tanks. Same thing again. The LR never worked from the get go and the SR worked great for about a week. I figured out how to take the atty apart and give it a cleaning but wick adjustment and so fourth is a pain for me. I spent more time fiddling than vaping. Very frustrating to say the least. So I gave up for a few days and switched back to analogs. BTW I had no problem with not smoking as long as my vape equipment was up to par. So I recently became a member here at ECF and some of the great folks here suggested I pick up some boge 2.0's for my ego bats and ditch the tanks. I received those yesterday. I don't know if its a learning curve that im still dealing with or what, but im having trouble getting a constant good vapor from the boges. When they're vaping good there good but thats not always the case. Im seem to be topping them off w/ juice about every 30 mins or so...(im a very heavy vapor). Not sure if at times I have to much juice or not enough. Just to let you know how much I vape. If its a sunday and im just sitting at home I will come close to discharging two ego 1100 mah bats. On weekdays, (I have a job where I can smoke or vape while working) im usually into the second battery a little before bed. Anyway, enough rambling and on to my questions... One. I feel like im ready to upgrade from the ego bats and move on to something that will give me more vapor and is consistant. Im thinking about a VV box mod. A kit would be great because I enjoy assembling things and they are more affordable. The ony VV kits I've found are from madvapes. Do you guys have any suggestions for a VV box or any other deice that will fit the needs of a chain vapor like myself? It has to be tough because it will be in my pocket during work and I have an active, psychically demanding job. Two. Any suggestions on technique for filling, topping off and all around use on my boge 2.0's in the meantime? The biggest problem I have with the boges is that while im on the go. Driving, working, basically anything besides sitting at home they just don't seem to satisfy. Not enough vapor or TH. Times like now, at home they work ok. Good enough, but not great. I want something that gives me a great vape all the time....Thanks.:vapor:

Box mods aren't overly fragile, but they are plastic. If you think a plastic box might get smashed in your pocket, I'd look for something else. If you do decide to go that route though, you can't go wrong with a kit from Mad Vapes. I've spent several $100's of dollars on parts from them and they always satisfy. The few times I was shipped the wrong parts, they promptly sent me replacements and let me keep what they shipped. It's definitely a good way to see if VV is your thing without spending too much money.

You might also want to poke around the modders forum. Lots of unique DIY designs in there that you can take inspiration from if you're willing to source all the parts instead of buying everything at once in a kit.

Otherwise, the world is your oyster when it comes to VV mods. If you're pocket book can swing it, and you can manage to find one in stock, The Darwin is the king of VV. (It's actually adjusting wattage instead of voltage, which is a far superior means of adjustment, but the concept is the same.) Other popular choices are the ProVari, the Buzz Pro, the Infinity.

A great way to check out a lot of mods in one place is to browse the E-Cigarette mod database. I always stop there first when I'm considering getting something new. Best e-Cig Mod List | e-Cig Mods Database
