Firstly Hi,

I'm new to this forum so plz go easy on me. I was looking to upgrade the battery on my eVic for something which would hold more charge but after reading a closed thread on here I'm guessing it's not as simple as just going for a 3400mAh battery alone? If anybody could shed some light or suggest a suitable battery which would give me longer battery life it would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

howdy - and welcome

to best of my knowledge, the best SAFE battery you can put in the evic would be either the samsung 30q (pink) or lg hg2 (brown) - both are reasonably rated as 20A CDR batteries by @Mooch 's bench tests and pretty similar, performance wise - and clock in around 3000mah... I don't know of a safe 3400mah 18650 for vaping

I concour everything that has been said. I also wouldn't use any single 18650 battery mod over 50-60w. Even though it's relatively safe because of the fact it dosent draw DIRECTLY from the battery. You will still have TERRIBLE battery life and around 50% you won't even be able to hit 75w as you will most likely get a weak battery error and will only push about 60w. To maximize battery life I would build to use it in the 35-45w range. Just my 2 cents.
