Loose Battery - Caravela Clone

Has anyone experienced a loose battery with a EHPro Caravela clone? I have the medium sized pin installed (larger one was too long) on the 'vela, a Yeahsmo Crown rda, and an EFest 18650 Flat Top battery. It's not firing accidentally but if I jiggle the mod just a tad I can feel that the battey has a few mm's worth of play between contacts. Any help would be greatly appreaciated as I'm using my mechanical mod for the first time tonight and although not a deal breaker, it is becoming quite annoying.

You may want tom try a button top battery. Very few mods run on a flat top

Not there isn't unfortunately. The large contact is too big, which won't allow me to either screw the battery cap on completely OR screw the RDA in all the way. The medium sized pin is too small to make contact with the battery when I hit the switch. The flat top is what was suggested with this Caravela clone and I can't imagine why I would be having this problem.

I didn't want to have to modify the pins but it's looking like I may have to take a grinder to it if I want a perma-fix. I've cut two small washers out of a 2 liter bottle and seated them between the switch insulator and the bottom of the battery. Keeps it nice and tight now.

Going to order a button top and give it a go I think.

I seriously doubt you got that information from the mfr.

I never said I did. The flat tops are the batteries you need to use if you're going to install a safety fuse in this mod.

Did you ever use a fuse? That could solve the problem... Or is that why you have a problem?


As a side note, got a Caravela clone in today that has an adjustable silver plated 510/battery pin.. No idea who makes it. Got it from AngelCigs.
