One simple solution for the loose battery door (for old ipvd2 whose ball bearing spring not tight already)
Make half a circle with your index and thumb on both your hands. Then hold the battery door and squeeze, slowly. Too fast and the paint will chip at the bending area.
90% of the time, you will make it too tight but that may be what you want. Usually less is more so start using little strength then up it if you need it tighter
