Lorann's Cherry review for those over 40

WARNING! This flavor review is for those over 40 years of age. Younger folks probably won't get it and that's a good thing.

OK, for a long time I have seen people hating on Lorann's Cherry flavoring. I always thought that they were just exaggerating how bad the cherry flavor was.

Bloody hell, they were right. For anyone thinking of getting Lorann's Cherry flavor, I figured out what it tastes like. Remember in the 60's when you went to the bank with your mom and the bank teller would see you there and hand you a Safe-T pop? The lollipops that had a soft cardboard rope handle with each end embedded in the candy, making a loop for you to hold on to as you ate it?

Remember that awful cheap cherry flavor the Safe-T pops had. Kinda medicinal, almost like root beer but with a hint of kinda cherry flavor? THAT is Lorann's Cherry. The one good thing is it has a nice throat hit. Then again, so did the Vietnam War.

And it stays in the atty FOREVER.

I thought they stopped making this flavor when they stopped spraying everything on earth with DDT. I was soooo wrong. It's everything bad about the 1960's condenced into 1 tiny vial of cheap and nasty.

I'm 22, and I know too. They handed them out at a doctors office I went to when I was younger. I can't imagine vaping a cherry safe-t pop. 8-o

Oh no! My tastebuds must be really bad! I LIKE the Lorann's Cherry Flavor! I think it depends on how heavy you use it. If you don't turn the liquid red..you may like it better. I mix it with P.G. and a dash of glycerin. I don't bother with Nic in the fruit flavors. I like all the fruit flavors..banana the most.
What I really don't like is any of their dark flavors, like the Chocolate (toosie pop flavor) and the Praline, caramel and butter scotch. They all taste like meds to me. The coffee is ok if you are just adding to an already premade coffee to extend it.

Dont remember ever getting candy in the Bank must be a US thing.

Those pop things are strange never seen them before and yes I am over 40 .

the pops are okay. but safet pops is the wrong name... it is more like "lollipop stick falls apart and dyes your hands whatever color the candy is and gets sticky"... pops

They are like "... on a crappy string", If candy needed to be put on a friggin rope then you are doing it wrong.

To me those god awful lolipoops are the ....... spawn of Scurets and Luden's cherry cough drops. They remind me of either since it is the only taste that would cut through the god awful of either sucrets or ludens.

I dont remember getting these from the bank.. but, the memory of getting them for being a "good girl" at the Dr's office is tugging at my memory lol...And yes, they are a sticky mess- mothers love em lol

I remember getting one cut our of my hair with some dulled razor comb thingie. Ugh my gramps used to not throw anything away, I am bald and still feel that on my scalp ripping the roots from my tender 4year old dome.

See...I LIKE safety pops. Don't ask, it's one of those guilty pleasure things. But I picked up a bottle of Lorann's cherry flavor.....YUCK! Seriously nasty. I wish I had read this first.
