Loranns vs Bickford flavorings

I've been checking both sites and find Bickfords is cheaper than Loranns. They pretty much have the same flavors though. Besides the price, is there anything else that I should be aware of between the two (for example, is Loranns flavorings stronger than Bickford)

I have all I need now to mix my own stuff, just need the flavors. And just want to find the best source of flavors.

Lorann flavors are considerably stronger. Most all Bickford flavors need to be mixed at no less than 40% bickford to 60% nic juice/vg. The only exceptions to that are the licorice and mint flavors. The root beer is also quite strong. I have used both brands extensively. When all is said and done you will get a lot more for the money with lorann. Get the 1oz size bottles for $6 each. They will outlast the bickford bottles twice over. Both places charge a small fortune for shipping, but Lorann will ship free if you spend $70.

You might want to check out Capella's. I haven't tried Bickford yet, but can't see myself using Lorann again. The flavors to me had too much of a chemical taste, where as the Capella's has a much more natural taste.

I used some Bickfords and found them to be quite weak compared to LorAnns. Now I'm using Capellas and VERY pleased with it over both Bickford and LorAnns.

You might want to try Faerie's Finest also. I love theirs.
Also taste is a subjective thing, I personally really don't like Capella's (weird, nasty background taste to them) but like most of the LorAnn's.

I second the motion for Faerie's Finest. Very pure tasting and they go easy on the coloring. I highly recommend the Lemon Lime, the Mandarin Orange, and the Key Lime. faerie's finest - extracts and liquid flavors

If you want to try Loranns flavorings, or are Jonesing to just do some DIY, try looking in your local Wally World, or Hobby Lobby (HL). every HL i have been in has carried Lorann on their shelves, and Walmart sometimes carries it.

I've just found lower prices online than in stores. You have to pay for shipping when you shop online; but in stores you're paying for the real estate rental, utility bills, maintenance and staffing costs of a store, which they incorporate into the price of every single item.

Two Lorann's sellers that are cheaper than Lorann's itself:

* For Lorann's drams you can get 24 for less than $30 at chocolate2live4 on eBay, for a per-dram cost of less than $1.25 including shipping.

* For Lorann's ounces you can get many flavors for $4.49 plus $5 flat shipping on Netrition. Even if you only order five bottles, that will come to less than six bucks a bottle with shipping.

Faeries Finest is also on eBay with a special four-bottle price of $13.49 plus $6 shipping, for less than $5 an ounce total. I've been wanting to try some of their flavors...maybe actually find a chocolate I can taste?

Agreed, usually, but i found Loranns @ Wallyworld for $2.50 for a 2 dram pack. Not alot of selection tho. And ... it satisfies my instant gratification fix.
