Lost display on my Luxe 2

I have a smok luxe 2 that I only recently got. All at once the display has gone black.
It still hits okay but it's a pain to not be able to adjust it or see how much charge I have left.
My local shop guy looked at it and said probably it's the board
I hate to have to buy a new mod so soon
I've had the same thing happen to a few other mods.
Anybody else have this happen? Is there any way to fix it?

I had this happen to a Smok Mag 225w. It is an issue with their quality control, that and the poor switches. When you replace it, replace it with something other than a Smok.

The fix is to not buy Smok products.
