I have an e-Go type vap from a local store with a kangerTech tank.
No matter what I do the taste is more often burnt then good
I have 2 small tanks and one bigger kangerTech that hold different ejuice flavors.
I have tried cleaning and installing new atomizers along with cleaning the tanks yet it all still taste burnt. I vap hard since I'm often in a rush. Vap a dark ejuice which shop says gunks up the atomizer faster. But even a newly installed one taste poor.
what should I do?

When you install a new atomizer it takes a little time to soak up the juice. It's not a bad idea to put a drop or two on the coil before you install it if you are getting dry hits. Juices are thin, thick, or somewhere in between. 100% PG makes for thin juices. 100% VG makes them thick and syrupy. There are all sorts of variations in between. What's the makeup of you juice?

Take long slow hits. About 4 seconds at a time is good. That lets the juice flow into the atomizer to replace what you use when you vape. Try taking a few primer puffs before you press the fire button to draw some juice into the coil, then press the fire button and vape. If your tank has an air adjustment ring, set it for a tighter draw. That will create more suction to draw juice into your coil.

Give us some exact hardware model information as well as the tanks and clearos you have. There's a good deal of difference between a Kanger Aerotank and a Protank 2. Clearos vary in personality, also.

Welcome to ECF. You'll find a lot of people don't have taste either.

Wait, you meant something else...

Has this setup worked for you a any point? Have you made sure the center post of the battery is clean? How long do you wait after filling before firing up? What is your puff technique (as in pull hard right away, push the button for a moment before inhale, direct lung or any other seemingly unimportant detail)?

It was wonderful the first week I was in LOVE
Clean center post, uh nope. But I will now
How long do I wait? I'm a single mom of 3 special need kids there is NO waiting, LOL. fill up, reassemble quickly, inhale.
Technique? Push button, hard pull right away mouth to lung pull. I'll ease up on the hard pull when I realize it taste like poo.
Often my battery light blinks fast when I hold it too long or button gets darn hot and heats up tank so I have to ease off and wait for cool down.

The center post may have been the issue. If it is too gunked up you will get bad flavor.

The wait for the type you are using is short, maybe a few minutes, only on an unused coil. Or you can go the way Dave recommended and just put a few drops directly on the wick when you replace the coil.

Experiment with draw techniques to find the right match for your setup. Most people find it best to press the button for not even half a second to a full second with a setup like yours then long slow draws.
