Lost Vape Grus 100W how it's made:

It would be easy to describe the appearance of the Grus and reduce it to a simple rectangle; in reality its surfaces are a set of convexities, curves, bevels, grooves and flattened areas. There are no edges, its lively lines are always connected to each other in a sweet and functional way ensuring great ergonomics and tactile pleasure during the vape, moreover the Grus is stable and safe resting on the table.

The frame is built entirely of zinc alloy, the stainless steel parts are; the 510 base, the support base and the battery compartment cap. The plastic parts concern the front panel which contains the display and the control keys.

With so many metal parts the weight of the Grus rises up to 180g which are not few! However, even with a 21700 cell inserted and with the tank full of liquid screwed on, its portability remains very good and not at all tiring, thanks to a form factor guessed in the smallest details.

    9.jpg

The side view showcases the lively design of the Grus with the high color density acrylic insert in the center, this sample is part of the color choice category called "universal series" by Lost Vape. In the structure of the Grus it is easy to distinguish the areas of the steel frame from those in zinc alloy, the latter are painted the others are not. The writing "Grus" heads high on the side profile of the 510 cup, on the other side the writing is that of the Brand (Lost Vape).

The 0.96 "TFT screen is an integral part of a frame that also houses the fire button, the Mode button and the Up / Down adjustment buttons. The screen has 6 background colors, the visibility of the fonts in some occasions is not exactly optimal , all the information useful for vaping are shown except the reading of the Volts in the VW configuration.

    12.jpg

The slightly rounded surfaces of both narrow sides favor the grip on the mod.

    13.jpg

The steel cup is fixed to the Mod via two torx screws, the thread is a classic 510, the contact pin is floating, atomizers with a diameter of up to 30mm can be used without protrusions.

    14.jpg

    15.jpg

The particular shape of the support base gives great stability to the Grus, on this surface there are three vent holes for the cell, the C E mark, the disposal logo and the words "Designed and Manufactured by Lost Vape Ltd" are shown. Also on this surface we find four torx screws and the cap (with handle) to access the compartment / battery.

    16.jpg

The Grus can use different types of cells (18650-20700-21700) for the smallest 18650 an adapter is available in the kit.

    - Over 10s, the device locks for safety when 10s of continuous delivery are reached.

    18.jpg

In addition to an accurate temperature control setting menu, the Grus adopts a Type-C USB port, during recharging the cell graph is animated, when charging is complete it simply stops and the display goes into stand-by.

The Grus has the important "Pass Trough" protection that prevents involuntary activations or vaping while reloading the Mod.

Personally, I always recommend recharging all devices with external batteries using a specific charger; for safety reasons, greater longevity of the circuit and cells.
