The tornado is the same as an Ego but you must have had a bad battery. I heard a lot about things like that with the Tornado maybe they just look the same but not the perfected version from Janty. I bout mine from Janty because of the longer warranty and my battery lasts at the lest 7 hours with constant vaping. No if only the cartridge did. I find myself constantly pulling out my smoke tip or kr808d-1 because of not having to refill. I have the adaptor but the ego seems to make the carto leak whereas I get a perfect hit everytime with my smoketip battery.

There DOES seem to be a quality difference between the Tornado and Ego. I think that Janty seemed to have some production problems while Joye got out of the gate a bit quicker.

I've never had an issue with my Ego carts leaking either.
