I now refer to my pipe and a Mini Manly Pipe... I have another one in the mail from Dietsmokes... Can't wait to get some that GOOD vapor again!

AFAIK the name "Lady Pipe" stems from it's history, as this device was originally thought up/developed by Knutselpeter (of various E-vaping forums fame !) at the request of several ladies on some of the Dutch E-vaping forums.
They loved vaping the E-pipes available at the time but wanted something a bit more 'ladylike' and less bulky as they sometimes felt uncomfortable using the regular E-pipes away from home.
Hence the name "Lady Pipe", although I believe the manufacturer has actually always designated it as the "Mini Pipe".
I believe (from what I've read) that this is the origin of the name "Lady Pipe".
Cheers,
Silver
How long do the carts last or how much do they hold? Is there a standard cartridge and atomizer?

You would think that with the size of a traditional pipe that it would be the ideal all day, standard battery smoker. Hold 2 mg of juice and use a single AAA rechargeable battery.
Maybe someday.
From: Pipe Smoking
"First Lady Pipe smoker, Rachel Jackson had accompanied General Jackson to Washington in 1824-25 when the Presidency was decided in the House of Representatives. Rumors about Rachel preceded her arrival in Washington, and the question arose as to whether the other ladies would accept her. Ultimately, they did call upon her. But she did not want to go to Washington in 1828, fearing that her inelegance at conversation, her pipe smoking, and general lack of refinement would reflect poorly on her husband, the new President. However, she did acquiesce to the urging of her friends and made plans to go. She went on a shopping trip and bought clothes appropriate for the occasion only to become ill and die on

Hi Ramblin,
This Mini Pipe uses standard penstyle carts and atomizers, although it seems that some people are having trouble using some of the other penstyle atomizers with this device, whereas others have no problem with the exact same combination (very confusing!).
Personally I have been able to use penstyle atomizers from Janty, Sedansa and DSE801's with the Mini Pipe without a problem.
A good thing about this device IMO is that when it is performing well, it is possible to vape the carts completely dry without any fiddling with it at all. This makes it more efficient (again: when it is performing well !) than any of the penstyles I've tried so far.
Incidentally, I have been using this Mini Pipe for a couple of months now and there do seem to be some atomizer issues. It seems that some of the atomizers don't perform optimally out of the box and others either don't perform optimally for very long, or if they do, sometimes they die quite quickly.
It is to be hoped that the manufacturer will be able to address these issues without losing the fantastic flavour these atomizers give. I still can't for the life of me figure out why the flavour is so much better than with any other atomizer I have ever tried, anyone got any ideas about this ?
Cheers,
Silver
I think the battery of the minipipe is too powerfull for the atomizer they designed. Unfortunetly I don't have any 801 batteries too test and see if the minipipe ats would last longer with the 801 batteries
fatman...If you are willing to put a small notch on the band of you atomizer...then it will work on an 801 battery. It won't ruin your atomizer...you will still be able to use it on your minipipe....actually the draw will be even better that way.
Really? I will try that. I have never modded these things. What woudl I use? I have a dremel - or is it as simple as using a chisel or file?
