Just got my Reo a few days ago. I LOVE it. But, sometimes I hate it. After the first day, the button started to stick. I never noticed it at first, but, then I heard the atty sizzling.
It was quite hot. I kinda went into panic mode, and quickly took the battery out. Let the atty cool down, took it off, and tried to figure out what the problem was. Figured maybe it picked up something from being in my coat pocket. I couldn't find anything. Put it all back together, and it worked fine the rest of the night. Next morning same thing again. It works like it should then it doesn't. Off and on every day. I've been taking the battery out when not in use, cause I don't want the silly thing blowing up or something like that. And when I'm using it, I keep it in my hand. It's making me kinda nervous now.
I went thru all the posts here, saved the vids, and went over them numerous times, before my Reo arrived. I wanted to have all my ducks in a row. I made sure I wasn't pushing too hard on the button, or perhaps turning it so you can't push it. I even put a new atty on it. Its starting to scare me. I once had a grain truck burn on me, so I get paranoid real quick.
I put it under a light so I can see real good, and I can't find anything that would be making it stick. I cleaned it with some alcohol etc like the post said to. Sometimes you just take the battery out, look it over, put it all back together and it works for a while again. What am I doing wrong here?
ETA: I have the battery that was recommended to buy (AW IMR 14500), and a trustfire TR-001 charger.
