I love your post. I find it absolutely amusing.... I have been doing a lot of research, no sampling though, with vv and vw mods, but after deciding on one in particular, I keep going back to basics. My standard 650 eGo or my 1100 eGo twists. I am actually worried about leaving them alone and not using them anymore IF I switch. BUT, after reading quite a few posts, many people love their mods for home and personal use, but indicate using an eGo out while going out. So the question to me by myself is.....

Do I NEED to upgrade, or do I WANT to upgrade?

I myself am honestly on the fence on this one, although I am leaning to the wanting vs the needing. Therefore I will stay where I am for now. Trust me, I look at many-a-site daily on upgrades to my current set-ups. Hope you find yourself and your answer.

Just bought an iTaste MVP v2....Now I have 2 eGo-C Twist 650's on "standby"....
I WON'T be "retiring" them!!! They're still great for using with a 510 bridgeless atty or conventional 510 cart....
The MVP, I find, gives more support to my Protank 2's....and the 2600mAh battery is a definite PLUS!!!:D

I have the iTaste MVP 1.0 and 2.0 and I really love them, awesome. Great battery power (2600mAh), great consistency and very durable. I like the form factor the most, I do not like the aesthetics of tube mods and generally think they look stupid.

Here is what I have and where I use:
-3 650mAh Joyetech eGo vv upgrade batteries: use them for out and about and early in the morning and late in the evening
-1 350mAh eGo: use for stealth vaping at sporting events or anywhere else that requires stealth vaping
-1 1000mAh Joyetech eGo vv upgrade battery: mainly a backup
-1 1000mAh Joyetech eGo C Twist: one of my two work mods for all day work vaping
-1 1300mAh Vision Spinner: the other workhorse for work
-2 Innokin itaste MVPs: This is my home system and vacation system, but I often take it to the bar also

For me that's all I need. I'm going to get a REO but I think the above equipment will be in my rotation for at least many months to come. The ease and portability of the eGo type batteries makes them practical and proficient. I honestly think most folks can get by with just these, but adding a Twist or a Spinner is a must if you like Carto tanks like I do.

The day after I bought my eGo I was worried that I should have gone bigger and "better" but to be honest, I love my eGo (Smoktech and Evod) and realize I don't want or need to really mess with more complicated mods. My eGo is simple, easy to use and super sexy. It gives me plenty of vape, good throat hit and does what I want it to do. I use Protanks also so I am pretty set with both PVs.

You bring up a really good point. After mod after mod after mod, starting because mods were the only ones to go 5 volts, I'm now pretty happy with this spinner at 4.8. I, too, am tired of the tweeking and trying to figure out if it's the battery, batteries, or carto that's not working. Had enough. This is simple, and A lot smaller and lighter. So I ordered another one!

Haven't checked in here in months, I did tons of research here after success getting off analogs w/NJOY gas station cigalikes. I went with the Ego C NON VV 650 bats and mini vivi nova set up. I absolutely love it, still. When my atty gets gunked up and it's not hitting like new I clean or replace it with new and I'm back in vaping heaven. I purposely didn't go w/a twist as I'm pretty OCD and thought I'd constantly be futzing with it and never happy. Ignorance is bliss as they say! I'm so happy I found this forum and haven't had an analog since June. I was just about out of juice and planned on putting it down, but found myself ordering 11mg and 0mg of my favorite flavor today (watermelon from RMV). I plan on vaping the 11 (was on 18) for a bit, then mixing 50/50 w/0 (essentially 5.5 mg) and finally dialing down to zero. I'll miss my vaping, but I got into this to completely kick the habit and NOT vape long term. I firmly believe this is 1,000 x's better than smoking, but I also believe not vaping has got to be better than vaping...
